As an expat pom who came here in the late 80's I can say with confidence that Australian Music of that Era was second to none in the world and these two are among the top protagonists!
Pretty good version, but this just makes you realise that Marc Hunter was one of the greatest lead singer / front man ever, anywhere. He really had a great voice, and amazing presence! RIP Marc Hunter.
@@kerrymead3885 definitely a kiwi song , but I do think the Aussies loved this song more than we did . I’m a kiwi and was doing a bit of moving between both countries at the time when it came out , in nz it was popular but just another song , in Australia it was number 1 and being thrashed everywhere you went . Dragon were based in Australia at the time and selling out everywhere they played . So I do see their reason for affection and nostalgia towards it .
Been binge watching U-tube Australian music, Looking in the side bar for classics, (Seems they struggle for Ozzie content). This is the first Dragon song all day. Thanks they were my favourite
