@@MrFALLENHER0that's true & most fans will miss Dan Quinn for sure. However, a lot of those turnovers were non existent when they played tougher opponents, almost all of them resulting is L's.

I’m a little hesitant to go with an insider hire. Yes they would know the players inside and out and that’s a plus. However I fear it would be more of the same situation we were in last season! Fast guys but no big tacklers that can stop the run! If we go with someone else, they have an outside look and can come in with a fresh perspective! Whoever we get i hope they do a great job with all the talent we have and add more to it!
I would love for Dallas to get Mike Vrabel. I know he would maximize the talent on defense and bring toughness to that unit.

@@MrFALLENHER0 Dan Quinn did do a good job with our defense he just failed to make adjustments when it counted. That's been evident especially when he's faced any offense that's coached by anyone under the Shanahan umbrella.

I think Quinn did all he can do to help this defense.
To call Dan Quinn a DC is a disservice to all the good DC in the NFL.. Look what happen to us when we played most teams over .500. 49ners, Buffalo, Green Bay to name a few.
Quin Is just like McCarthy, he will always be good, but never great!

@@michaelbutts6073 He did well against the Niners last year. I think it was a personnel issue this year. We didn't have any linebackers and Kearse has regressed at Safety, also no Trevon Diggs. I do think Quinn wet the bed against GB because he didn't care to be a DC anymore.
TBH that packers game was the worst coaching performance ever. However that was really the only time where I was down on Quinn. He took over a garbage defensive unit in 2021 and made it elite (at times)!!!
I'm sure there's expansion on the horizon for this specific defensive roster

I sure did. Quinn’s D was outstanding vs the pass but vs the run, she stank to high heaven. I want a D that defends both sides of a football game; and I want an Offense that can pass AND RUN the ball, both well and consistently!
I think in today's game, that Shanahan scheme is the "it" scheme. Dallas should hire someone that knows how to deal with what that offense can do.

Im glad. Our D was junk all year unless they could get turnovers. Otherwise they just gave up yards and points, even against teams like Arizona. The defense needs some new blood, someone who will teach discipline and not put 200lb dudes at linebacker.

@@MrFALLENHER0 He definitely turned our defense around for sure, no doubt, but the simple fact that he kept playing a zone defense after we got destroyed in the first half puts a huuuuge chink in his armor. It wasn't solely on him because McCarthy fucked up big as well, but Quinn's logic made absolutely zero sense to keep playing the same way we did in the first half

Why get rid of Dan quin and keep McCarthy. This can be good for us later or bite us in the ass. Quinn didn't have any real LB's so that's Jerry's fault in my opinion. I believe letting him leave was not a good move and we might suffer because of it.
