Seen these guys 3 times. First time in 09' one the support bands for Metallica that was their best performance as I got to see The Rev and Shadows voice was still on point. The second time Five Finger Death Punch Supported and the third time Disturbed supported. Their 09 show was short but the best. RIP Jimmy 🙏❤️

I keep reading comments on all of these videos about how the crowd isn't moving at all or they aren't "doing anything". You know what? Those comments are correct. From now on, we should all run a 5k while enjoying a concert!
Bands gain their Energy from the crowd. If the crowd is acting like seniors at a bing hall. The band looses its excitement. Tough playing for a bunch of lame people.
I grew up listening to Iron Maiden Judas Priest Ozzy etc. Avenged Sevenfold could of held their own with these bands back in the 80’s. The fact they are young and killing it now is a blessing for us all.
Pinkpop isn't much of a metal festival. It doesn't happen very often that bands like A7X or Metallica are invited to play. Even though most of the rock/metal was clustered into the monday line-up, there were still "artists" like Stromae. A lot of people went to watch the bands, but I'm sure most weren't very familiar with their songs. Besides that, the crowd audio always gets tuned down very much for television broadcasting.
I was there, and I can say the crowd was quite good, especially up front of course. Not very much moshpits yes, but I don't care about pits because I don't mosh so I would say the crowd wasn't bad
