i got emotional seeing the streets where i brought my dad in 2018. I lost my dad due to covid but the streets of myeongdong make me remember him so much and how much he enjoyed his time there.
I was in Korea last 2019, and Myeongdong is one of the most memorable places I have visited since the whole place is so lively and crowded. The wide selection of street food you can get is so plenty that you will struggle with which one you'd like to eat. I am delighted that South Korea has opened its doors again, and hopefully, I can visit again at the end of this year or next year. Thank you for another awesome vlog, Ms. Kring.

Myeongdong now is a lot better than summer of 2020 when stores were open but no customers and the food stalls didn't even bother to open. I think many of the stores relocated within Myeongdong. I was in Korea May 2020 - March 2021 and just arrived back in Korea this past weekend and Myeongdong looked busier, the lunch restaurant we went to had a line of waiting diners. Hopefully things continue to progress and Myeongdong returns back to its shopping glory.
If you come to Seoul, Korea, you will be able to enjoy another much more beautiful night view right in front of your eyes than the usual view of Namsan and Lotte Tower. In particular, if you go up to Eungbongsan Mountain and Geumho Mountain in Hawangsimni-dong, Geumho-dong, just a few kilometers between Cheonggyecheon Stream and Seoul Forest Park, you can enjoy badminton (get off at shin-Geumho Station or take a taxi) and there are many beautiful and delicious foods. Also, if you walk slowly for about two hours from the place called Dulle-gil starting from Maebongsan Mountain in Geumho Mountain, you can reach Namsan Mountain This place is very close to Gwangjang Market Jungang Market. It is close to Seongsu Bridge, Hannam Bridge and Dongho Bridge on the Han River. Therefore, it is very close to Apgujeong Station on Gangnam Station. Nakakaloka IDK why pero parang nalungkot ako to see Myeongdong in that kind of situation. It's like visiting your old school tapos makikita mo ba madaming nag iba and strolling while reminiscing the good old days... I hope once na maging ok na ang lahat babalik ang dating ingay at kasiyahan sa Myeongdong. ❤
On a positive note, sobrang mura ng hotel/airbnb sa Myeongdong ngayon.. like Php55k for an entire month for four people.. compared to other places in Seoul.. if hindi ka satisfied sa mga makikita mo don, just use it as a jump off point since malapit lang ang station anyway.. :)

I was there two days ago and it was almost empty since it was also raining. A lot of stores were closed. Wanted to try some of their street food sana when I also went there few days before pero wala na masiyado nagtitinda.
