In this movie she is enacting a Character of a Journalist who goes to the den of the Smugglers and Gangsters to steal some of their secrets, in this particular scene (song) she is disguising herself as Miss Hawa Hawai to hide her identity of a spy but during the song one gangster comes to know about her that she is a spy so that's why he slaps her in the end of the song.

In this movie, she did a CHARLIE CHAPLIN scene, it was so good and accurate but u can't call it fully same cause he was an iconic legend and it is not so easy to act like legends.......but she did her best in that scene and I really enjoyed that part
