We have been in Mexico for the better part of 2 1/2 years, but we are on the last 2 months of thiis part of our journey. We are back in Oaxaca as Jason is recovering from 2 major surgeries, but in the mean time we are hard at work planning Season 2. I really appreciate your feedback! In season 2 we hope to give more info on how we live this nomad life and tips for anyone who would like to start slow traveling or digital nomad life of any sort. We have certainly learned a lot! Feels like a 'hometown' to us, as it was our first long stay. We are going back for two weeks in late Feb to visit the wonderful friends we made there. Maybe we can meet up on the beach! Whaaaaat ? Well Im sure you will have fun. Are you staying in CSL or SJDC? And fun fact - our 3rd episode is about our time in Los Cabos. (We lived a month is SJDC, had one of the best days of my ENTIRE life there.)
This was the very first place we rented, and the only thing we were relying on at that time was airbnb. We didnt know any better back then! It was the heart of covid lockdown, so it may have been that cheap in order to intice renters, I think it also qualified for a "long term "renter discount that you will often get if you rent for a month or longer. We certainly felt lucky to have found it.
Yes, we really lucked out. The wifi wasnt the best, but it did the job. We had no idea we would be able to use the pool, that was a complete surprise. The entire month there was a really good introduction to life in Mexico.
