I think we are looking for a sense of identity and belonging.Because if slavery we don't know what part of Africa our ancestors were from. I too find myself drawn to African gospel and worship songs,dance and clothing.I always felt like a part of me was missing until I found them.Every day I listen and sing their praise songs.I just love it.I even have a perfect Nigerian accent.By the way I am from Trinidad and Tobago and some Nigerians even think I am Nigerian when I put on the accent it's only when they start talking in their native languages I have to saw I am no Nigerian.I have been even asked what tribe and what part of Nigeria i am from.Their culture is fun.I feel as though our culture are closest to Nigeria's.God bless you beautiful people who are here in 2021 I love you😘😘😘.
