    I have a 2022 SX (US) in Flair Red. We love this vehicle. You get all the space and convenience of a minivan while looking and handling pretty close to an suv. The is great in these vehicles and works well in real life. I have put 45, 000 miles on it in not-quite 2.5 years with next to no problems. Also, with all seats down, the Carnival has more cargo space than the Chevy Suburban!

    Kudos, girls! Nice to see people having fun and making the best of work while getting the job done. QUESTION RE the single forward sunroof ( not the panoramic)- is it available as an option on the EX or SX trim, or only the SX Prestege? Question for Al RE roof rails ( which are only avialable on the SX) - are there mounting points under the black strip running down both sidfes of the EX roof? Thanks again ! Wish I were in Canada.

    Hello, thank you for the amazing review as always! You both work very hard for your vlogs.. Can you give me few reasons not to buy Toyota Sienna and go with Kia Carnival? What are the few things you can convince to go with Kia Carnival?

    • @BrantfordKia
      @BrantfordKia  Год назад +2

      Hi, thank you for watching ! I greatly appreciate it! Also great question! The Sienna is a great option but id love to provide you with some reasons to choose the Kia Carnival instead
      Lower Price: The Kia Carnival is priced more affordable.
      Standard Features: You get A-LOT more features without paying extra.
      Interior Materials: The cabin feels very premium and exciting (personally I find Toyota to be quite boring)
      Flexible Seating: You can adjust seats to fit your needs. In the 8 seater configuration all middle row seats are removable!
      Better Warranty: Kia offers a 5 Year/100,000km warranty here in Canada
      More Cargo Space: There's more room for your stuff!
      Design: This very much depends on personal preference but most reviewers agree: The Carnival is the BEST looking van
      Advanced features & technology: Kia is definitely leading the way with incredible technology; depending on the trim level, you can expect features like high quality surround view cameras, passenger view camera, VIP reclining middle seats, + A wide array of emergency collision braking (front, rear, sides)
      Of course consider what matters most to you and your family when making your decision! I highly recommend test driving both as well!

    • @BrantfordKia
      @BrantfordKia  Год назад

      We haven’t had any reported problems. If the grille is peeling, it sounds like it might be a defect. I’d have that checked by your local dealer to see if you can claim it under warranty - so long as its not the result of damage.

    • @Abhisek007

      There is a warranty claim open with Hyundai Canada by the dealer. It's been 6 or 7 months now, and the parts are yet to come. My experience with the dealership has been very bad. @@BrantfordKia By the way, what are the wait times for 2024 Kia Carnival?

    Hi Gabby/Charlotte, i am not getting the expected fuel economy on Tucson Ultimate HEV 2024. When I drive on highway the engine hardly switches to EV, it is ok in city though. I have to drive a lot on highways, so how can I save more gas? Any sugggestions/tips?

    • @BrantfordKia
      @BrantfordKia  Год назад

      Hi, Thank you for your comment. Because your vehicle is hybrid and not a plug-in hybrid, it does not have a large enough electric motor to provide it with a rated “all electric range” this is necessary for enough power to be in just ‘EV’ mode at highway speeds. Fear not, at highway speeds , your electric motor is still working in conjunction with the internal combustion engine to provide you with better efficiency than a regular Hyundai Tucson! & at low speeds (10km/h ish) and at an idle your Hybrid Tucson will primarily be in EV mode making your vehicle fantastic for stop and go traffic and busy city driving. One of the best ways to maximize fuel-efficiency in a hybrid vehicle is to learn how to coast like a pro! Also, looking at your gauge cluster, there will be a dial instead of the tachometer that reads “Charge, Eco & Power” Your vehicle is working the hardest (and being the least efficient when it is higher up in the power band) when I drive a hybrid vehicle I like to pay attention to this metre and trying my best to stay within the ‘eco’ range. I hope this helps!

    • @khaledhabib8406
      @khaledhabib8406 Год назад

      @BrantfordKia thanks. I have been looking for the EV sign to turn on as I thought thats when the vehicle starts saving fuel. Noted on your suggestion to look at the meter but to be honest its no fun to drive such a smooth vehicle by always looking at the meter. Is there any other tips u can share so that I dont have worry about fuel efficiency and enjoy the vehicle at the same time?

    • @BrantfordKia
      @BrantfordKia  Год назад

      the vehicle is always operating as a hybrid, meaning both electric motor and gasoline engine are constantly working together to optimize efficiency. The ‘EV’ light will only appear on the dash of a HEV when the vehicle is either coasting, braking, at an idle, or at very low speeds, but fuel savings happen with all the driving in between (even without the EV light). As for the gauge, you don’t constantly have to be looking at it while driving. However, while you’re still getting used to how it works, it’s a very helpful tool. By paying attention to this gauge and how it reacts to the way you drive you may learn a lot about if you are driving efficiently or not (I’m extremely guilty of the latter) Also the ECO drive mode is definitely your friend for extra efficiency.

    Why cant KIA make a AWD option? I dont understand why only FWD. AWD is needed in areas which have lots of snow. Worst decision by KIA not to offer AWD option.

    This is the third time I’m asking this question in different videos and no response from the channel. The floor rails to move the seats back and forth should not be open always which can easily grab the food and dust, also when the car was in idle for sometime I noticed the middle rail gets hot , my younger kid was able to notice that when he was in bare foot. How can this be so dangerous?

    • @BrantfordKia
      @BrantfordKia  Год назад

      Hello, Thank you for your question. I’d like to apologize for any inconvenience you've experienced with the seat rails in your minivan and for the delay in addressing your concerns. We receive a-lot of RUclips comments & sometimes some get lost, we appreciate your patience.
      Regarding the issue of the floor rails being open, we understand your concern about them easily grabbing food and dust. While open seat rails are a common design in many vans for the purpose of adjusting the seats, we do recognize that it can be frustrating when debris accumulates in these areas. One solution you might consider is periodically cleaning the rails to prevent this issue. Unfortunately there is no ‘fix’ for this.
      Regarding your observation of the middle rail getting hot when the car is in idle, this is generally not something that should occur & not something we have experienced at our dealership. Unless its just general heat from sunlight (which unfortunately is inevitable) I strongly recommend that you have this concern checked by a certified technician at your nearest dealership or service center as soon as possible. Safety is our top priority, and we want to ensure your peace of mind when driving your minivan. - Gabi
