My interpretation of the song (not including the fact that it’s a mashup) is that the rapper/singer is having ptsd from a life he escaped and the people he escaped. So he reminds himself of how good he has it now and how he won’t let his fear control him.
This doesn't give me some villain sense or what other people say, instead, it gives me joy, mainly whilst I am playing God of War or any game where you are overpowered, in the way that is fun and not cheap.
