Yes I had some blooms in late September and early October. They were better looking than my early blooms. I live in Monroe Ga. Not Far East of Atlanta.
Here in zone 5b, we had the most amount of bloom on my endless summer hydrangeas that I have ever seen since planted many years ago and think it is because of all the rain we received this year
Hi Kelly, 1st time watching. great video! Just moved into my house in May, waiting to see what perennials come up, not much. One beauty is the hydrangea. How do I know which hydrangeas I have? I need to separate and move it. Thanks in advance :)
I want to transplant my hydrangea but do I need to wait for it to go dormant? Would like to transplant now. The temps here are 70 degrees in Massachusetts
My panicle hydre has little green buds, can they be transplanted? They are new so I won’t be myself if they die but I’ll like to try to save them if possible so I don’t have to spend to buy more. Thank you
Eden, ny here. Rural farm Town outside buffalo ny. Can I dig up shrubs and pot them. I want to redo landscape in spring. Made bad planting choices when I began over 5y ago. Want to plant where they do better and amend beds
Hello Kelly, I am really so stressed and worried about my baby hydrangeas! We had them two weeks ago, they looked just fine, we planted them as soon as possible and here in Chicago the weather is really so hard!! They are our first plants babies ever ! I think I made lots of mistakes we didn’t water them every day !! First week it rained a lot anyway and another mistake I think we made that they don’t get enough sun in morning but in afternoon they do !! I really don’t know what to do, I learned a lot since I found your channel hoping it’s not too late! The leaves are turning brown and it looks so weak already! Please tell me what to do to save them!!
I planted a Macrophylla/Endless Summer last year, in full blazing sun, and didnt water it enough and it nearly died. i transplanted it to a spot with full sun all day till the hottest part of the afternoon, and had to let it fend for itself in the fall. it died all the way back to its roots, but it did return this year. i dont know what kind yours is, but it may save yours if you did the same once yours has gone dormant
@@lilastormsend4537 mine is also an endless summer hydrangeas, I saw a lot of videos and I really have hope that it will survive! Some leaves turned black but the stems are green which is a good sign. Should I cut the leaves or just let them fall ? Thank you for the helpful reply! Grateful!
@@hanaa8942 i knocked the dead leaves off of mine, but only the easily detaching ones, it grew some little leaves back before the frost took them the rest of the way out. knocking off the dead leaves just makes it look a little better and MAYBE lets the new ones come in slightly faster

Saw another video says you can transplant anytime, just water
How and when do you prune smooth hydrangeas
I was very interested but I can't hear the dialog. Please turn up the volume.
Oh no, I'm sorry ! Thank you for the video feedback , I will try and work on fixing the volume for the next video 👍
