I find it funny that some comment made it seem like Macris took pity on her that's why she "made" her score the last 5 points. when in the majority of the match, Macris only had eyes for Anna C. the questionnable and bad passes were all given to Vargas or Anna. while she gave it on a plate for Anna C.
Come on, you can’t deny that in the last few matches Arina has been producing very poorly in attack, regardless of the quality of the set or setter. She is amazing and carried the team before Vargas, but lately she hasn’t been the same. So, yeah, it makes total sense that Macris set 5 balls in a row to her when the match was practically won, to regain her confidence
@@Diogoddmatos and she, despite her poor performance, manage to hit them all perfectly right? That's because those sets were exactly the kind Macris gives to Anna. Sure, there's no doubt about Arina being down these past 4 matches. But it's weird because she SUDDENLY declined just like that? There's no reported (and visible injury). Also, it's weird how when Anna started, Vargas' attack effeciency also magically declined? When she has been good since she arrived?
And of course then most magical of all, was Anna's SUDDEN rise.
I've been watching all their matches. And no one can deny that Anna was prioritized with the good sets. Specially so with their Ecsa Vitra match. Lots of questionnable passes. That's why they lost that first set specially.

It's called strategy, and timing in the game. Not all players will be in the best position or momentum to score. A sensitive setter will know the difference.
