- Here's how to add Bluetooth to an iPod speaker dock with a 30-pin connector, such as the old JBL OnBeat, JBL Radial, or the Bose SoundDock. As shown in the video, you simply need a Bluetooth receiver with a 30-pin connector that plugs directly in the iPod speaker, where an iPod would normally go.

It is about your sensitive bambou Light.
By looking around for the pieces, i found a board that looks to includ everything you had except the SOIC8 component. It seems that you talk about something like this in your explanation but links might be broken today.
I have sent the pics on instructables.com
Could you please have a look on it ?
Anyways thanks for the fast reply !!!
You talking about the pcf8883 chip? Unfortunately, they stopped making it, and I don't know of a good alternative.

I would like to show you the pics but cannot here...

One rather late question: do these receivers turn off when the docking station is turned off? Or does your phone stay connected in bt untill bt receiver is turned off separately?
It stays on in my case, so I have to disconnect the phone manually. I believe it is going to be the same with other docks because they might be treating the receiver as an iPod -- keeping it powered to "charge" it.
