My name is Ayelet. I am the mother of 2 (a 1-year-old and 2.5-year-old) and we practice Montessori at home. I share videos about our Montessori home and motherhood in general.
I did the same with Christmas presents. My almost 3 year old got mostly cleaning supplies and tools for the kitchen. My just turned 1 year old got things they could both play with. They play with them interchangeably.

How do you use the salad spinner with your daughter? My daughter just turned 1 and I bought the stepping stones for the same reason you did: the colors lol. They are so pretty!

How do you combine your spiritual teachings with the montessori principles, are they ever contradicting and if so, how do you choose?
I'm curious to ask since I know you guys are a Jewish couple and although non practicing I have elders who are jewish as well😊
Thank you! I don’t feel they’re contradictory! Montessori doesn’t have a spiritual element like some other early childhood education methods do. I believe Dr. Montessori was Catholic but her methods are bit religious
