Scores Injured In Plateau School Building Collapse

- Rescue operation is ongoing in a school, saints academy located in Busa Buji of Jos north local government area of plateau state where the school building collapsed on Friday morning.
The two storey building housing secondary school students caved in while school was in session with students attending lectures.
Security agencies and rescue operators and escalators are on ground trying to rescue students and teachers buried under the rubble.
Numbers of casualty figure is not ascertain as rescue operations is ongoing.

I was a teacher in this school SAJ until JANUARY 2022. The school has always had cracks in the staff room most especially and the 2 floor is used as a hall for senior WAEC and some church activities which is mostly neglected. I think bringing the primary school kids to the secondary school building to join them because of financial issues of maintaining the primary skol building because it was on rent greatly increased the population and stress on the building
How would rescue workers work effectively and efficiently with this chaotic crowd all around the scene ?
The rescue team is just there for formalities, the people who are actually removing the victims from the collapsed building are the locals. Make them clear road abeg😭

I can’t believe this is happening.. I was once a teacher in this school until December 2021 and seeing all this brings tears in my eyes. I have been in contact with my ex colleagues and the proprietress now who happens to be the younger sister of the late owner has fainted

@@FelixMedayeseplanbxpressyes, the owner Mrs. Unigwe died on the 25th december on Christmas day. She slept in her home in rayfield on the 24th and didn't wake up. She was later buried in her home town in anambra

All I know is that this could have been avoided😢😢 this building has been in bad condition for years, students complained on how it use to shake but we're not paid attention now this innocent children bore the cross 😭😭 this is so unfair. School administrators only care about wat they will benefit from parents but don't care about the children's welfare😢😢. May God rest their souls

Parents please listen to your children when they try to make a point. Imagine a child/ children telling their parents what they observed about their school building and the parents on the other hand thought the child was saying that just to avoid going to school, what would be the fate of the parents if those children are not rescued alive. As far as I know my God reveals to His children in dreams/visions danger that lies ahead of them so that they would pray about it so it would be averted.. some parents of the deceased gave confessions on how they had such revelations but ignored and didn't pray about it, if he had prayed, I believe his only child would have been alive today cos my God always have His ways of coming through for His devotees.. I've seen and experienced a lot and I'm still alive cos I'm a strong devotee who takes things of the spirit seriously.. you should have a rethink of the god you worship and come to Jesus Christ cos Him alone is the savior and true living God.. Let federal government work on the cost of commodities in market because, someone will be building a story building, see the types of ion rod used, is so small., How can you be casting the pole of a building with 3 ion rods that are very small?, There is one l saw around nyannyan karu road abuja that has just finished, it is possible for that building will collapse one day.
