Always thought it was "you lost to proceed" or "you lost numeracy". He makes it sound like yourmachine as if it were one word hahaha. That's wild to know after all these years
I always thought it was "BRLRLRL, you're way out in front!" Like, the announcer was so impressed, words were failing him. It turns out it was -my hearing- the compression failing us.
Likely that F-Zero X changes the pitch in-game (for some reason). Found that in Audacity you can use the Change Pitch effect and change the percent by -15 with high-quality stretching to get what sounds like the right pitch.
@@turbochop3300you're probably correct. They looped the "o" sound. They had to really be smart around audio to save space, as audio takes a lot and cartridges hold so little data.
@@tastyDungeon That's possible. I don't know the capacity of its actual game pak specifically, but F-Zero X released in 1998, when the N64 paks could only hold 16 or 32 mB. So far as I know F-Zero X is around the 16 mB limit, so if it was on a smaller pak they probably optimized tf out of it.
0:07 you gonna hear this a lot in master mode
For some bizarre reason, I once imagined the announcer said “too bad, you lost your cookie”.

"POUR IT ON YOURE RIGHT OUT IN FRONT"
Pour it on??!?!? My whole life is a lie
I think it's also "You're WAY out in front"

I think he says Right on !
always heard pour it on as an enthusiastic "Wow!" or "Woah!"
I always thought he said "What a luck. You're way out in front" all these years
Just started playing this game. Never would have thought the sound of you falling off the course was the sound of your character screaming lol.
It's more noticeable if you choose a female pilot
0:53 "Yeah that final rap"
0:04 "Ya! No puedo mas..."
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
0:45 YOU GOT BOOST POWER
Glad they got General Greivous to be the announcer for the JP release
Oh, 0:38? That's the beta announcer, unused except for the high and low pitched screams when you fall off the track.
I honestly thought I was hearing Donkey Kong
1:24
They he goes oooooooooooooo makes me chuckle each time
0:07 Even when we finally got our hands on the uncompressed lines, I still have no clue what he's saying here.
Too bad.. you lost your machine.
@@xWBqRh4hkUc Ah yeah that makes sense. Thanks.
I think its "too bad, you want you receive"
I can't hear that he's saying at the start of 0:04.
@@autumn_basil "YEAHHHH, THE FINAL LAP"
The “3 2 1” guy genuinely looks evil ngl
System shock cyborg
That's Mr. ZERO, the man who runs the whole Grand Prix. He's not a bad guy or a good guy
*yOU'RE GOING THE **_WROOOOONG WAAAY!!!!!!!!_*
The female racer sounds like Princess Peach.
1:22 Yay! Oooohh... Uwoooooooooooooooo!
I keep coming back here because F-Zero 99 feels hollow without the announcer.
The second set sounds like an evil version of Terry Bogard... lol
Thank you, Jim Wornell... and unknown accomplise (Kayomi McDonald, perhaps?)
how come the "3 2 1 GO!" never sounds the way it does in-game on these soundpack videos?

1:24 Always sounded off on characters like Bio Rex.
lmao this one sounds off on anyone. But that sound is so hilarious!
General Grievous?
It seems the "Gooooo" is cut off prematureley
I think it loops for a few seconds, probably to save storage space on the cartridge.
@@silhouettoofaman2935 I just need to figure out where it loops at so I can have 321 gŒŒŒ on-demand
0:38 Ah yes, TF2 Heavy versions.
Tarry Bogard is that you?
Those who have NSO N64 Online will be able to experience this kino announcer.

First Star Fox, now F Zero? What’s next?
Is it gonna be EarthBound?
Half-Life?
As long as it was released on the iQue, it’s fair game
Donkey Kong 64
This is now on N64 NSO!!

Anyone know what he says at 0:20?
Sounds like "Pour it on! You're way out in front" 🤣
But it's most likely "Right on!..." or "Bring it on!...".
But neither REALLY fits 🤔
Actually its "well done! Youre way out in front"
Make one about the voices in the music themes including the menu😅
See you again! Hahahahaha 😂
The quality is no different from the game
What is he saying between 0:20 - 0:23?
"POUR IT ON! You're way out in front!" Or something like that.
What does he say in 0:17 ? Record real?
He says, "Record lap!"
