How do I change the wind to current rather than average? Also my rain does not register. I did what it said and used my finger to similate it filling with water and tipping. Tnx
Hi. I’m in Cairns QLD Australia. I have a ft-0835 which is the same as as-0835 I think. It has wifi but the rainfall and wind speed/ direction will not display on screen. Any ideas ?
I couldn't see what Barometer setting you chose on the display?😕 Also, my unit keeps displaying the year at top left by default. You didn't go over how to change that so it shows the Date? I tried buttons to no avail.

I just set up two of these units. I had some difficulty setting up the second unit on wifi using the Sainlogic App. It just would not log into the wifi at that location. Eventually I decided to try using the alternative method of using a browser as mentioned in the included instructions….success!
The WS-0835 DOES connect to wifi, and supposedly will share data with Wunderground and Weather Cloud, if you can work enough magic to navigate their clunky connection and interface instructions and procedures. Mine is probably going to be returned because it'll connect to Wunderground, but only updated every hour before falling offline completely. Connectivity between the sensor and the display console is better than I'd hoped for, with a full-strength signal through a wall and 150' of separation between them, and navigating through setting up the display was straightforward and easy, as you demonstrated in this video...I just wish setting up the wifi had been as simple.
I have this same issue with my Sainlogic WS-0310. It appears to be an issue on the Weather Underground end. If you look at the upload data you will probably find the last four hours are in hour increments, but beyond that updates are every 5 minutes. Updates to Weathercloud seem to work correctly for me as Weathercloud shows it updating every 5 minutes.

Why would my outdoor temperature read LO? Batteries have been changed and I even pressed the reset button after that didn't work.

so... the BL button doesn't keep it on all the time. Keeps it on for 14 seconds. w/o pressing and holding the button it stays on for 6 seconds.

Hit the min/max button to see your peak wind speed. Not sure if there is an average function.
