- Blue Springs State Parks Florida 2 park review. We take you to Manatee Springs Blue Springs State Park and Gilchrist State Park to review both the camping and the amazing Blue Springs swimming areas. Come see some amazing views of the spring heads and camp grounds. We take you with us kayaking and also show you some amazing underwater video with our GoPro 8, from a sparkling blue water to the abundant marine life. Two Blue Spring State Parks but very different experiences awaited us. We catch up with some fellow RUclipsrs Joe and Rhonda of RVing with the Moracas.

The water and the river look so wonderful. Christina would never go near it as she is scared to death of alligators. That board walk area to walk on is awesome. What a great way to see the swamp area.

We love Blue Springs State Park. Your underwater footage is awesome! We have not been to Manatee Springs State Park. It looks really nice. You can't beat Florida State Parks for beauty and value. Nice you got to meet The Moraccas. They do great videos. Hope you get to see some manatees and gators soon.
This was our first time at Blue Springs but hopefully not our last. We love spotting manatees.

I never gone kayaking either! I have however done a white river rafting and that was so much fun!

Wow, those are great shots underwater. I wouldn't have thought it would record sound either. Too bad you didn't see any alligators, but that boardwalk still looked pretty cool.

that's awesome! sorry you didn't see any manatees... we've seen them in a few different places, mostly on the Gulf Coast in Taylor County but most springs we've been to have had manatees.... they're pretty cool :) God bless!!! Kevin

HaHa! Okay... I would be terrified too! We visited my sister and her family in Florida last month (we had an amazing adventure with our T@G). I was nervous we’d be surprised by an alligator 😱 but we saw none. 🐊 Phew! ~ Maria

We have been told that this is the place to go. We really want to kayak and swim with the manatee. They say this is the place to be. We are at the Lake Lincoln State Park right now, and they have gators. We took videos of one yesterday that was eyeing Scout. Thought he'd make a nice little meal. We got him away from the waters edge pretty quick.
It is scary to be near alligators when you have a little dog. TJ loves alligators.

We’ve heard that Florida has many natural springs all throughout the entire state. We visited one near the northern part of the state, but it was not quite as beautiful as either of these two parks that you guys visit. I just love that you can see all the way to the bottom. And of course it’s made better because you made new friends, too
We're hoping to visit more blue springs but getting campground reservations in some of them was close to impossible.
Did you bring alligator spray? Oh wow, that is clear. Was that a dozen of turtles? It's not cold TJ, jump in! That water is awesome. Love those board walks. Oh deer! Did you really catch one? Thanks guys!
Lol...we'll have to look into alligator spray. Is that suntan lotion? TJ wants to attract the alligators instead of repel them.

There are many manatees at Silver Springs and you can camp at the state park
Silver Springs was on our radar but we never made it. Will keep in mind for next time. Thank you.
The manatees gather there in winter months when the spring is warmer than the other bodies of water and gators are mostly chill and will avoid people if they're in there. I've swam with gators in the springs they keep to themselves. gators will ambush small dogs tho along edges so keep small dogs leashed and close and..... for extra safety if u really need it bring a fishing pole and a gun lol
