With all the infrastructures in place, more youths are joining swimming clubs and gaining access to the sports and more talents have been discovered. There is no such a thing as certain nations or races dominate swimming, they just happen to have better access to the sports. Hockey, golf, tennis, and many other sports are cost prohibitive to people in developing nations and as a result, we tend to see fewer competitors from those places.
