I really enjoyed this movie. I like that they went back to when Nate first started out and established some of the lore (Chloe's night with Nate) and tweaked a thing or two (Nate's job as a bartender informing his pickpocketing talents and how he met Sully) and also establishing Sam in the movie universe. A lot of it made sense as you can't directly follow gaming lore in movies precisely. And I love that we're leading into the first Uncharted game, which I can't wait to see.
Here's the thing dude. Uncharted's action set pieces are very realistic. The way that stuff crumbles around them and structures fall, the way Nate hung off of a train that was hanging off of the cliff in the Himalayas.... That's how that stuff would really go down. That's how those buildings would crumble and that's how a train would hang off of a cliff. The action in Uncharted when everything is falling apart is how it would REALLY fall apart. You know?? The survival part of it might be a little lucky lol. But This? This is just silliness. Helicopter carrying a ship. That's three times its size. This kind of silliness was never in the Uncharted games. The action, as crazy as it was, was very realistic on how it would happen! The new Mission Impossible movie is a better Uncharted movie than this one lol. Literally!
Literally just watched this show on Netflix. At one point where Tom was on the boat and mark pokes his head out to ask him something, Tom miraculously could hear him even though there was rotor noise and the helicopter was up in the air. Then later when both of them were in the cockpit mark signals to Tom to put on the headset because he couldn’t hear him. Like what gives? Either be unrealistic or realistic.
Yeah or even throw one or two gold bars at Braddock. Gold is super heavy so if sully hit her head with the gold that’d probably be enough to knock her off the ship.
5:58 CHLOE: Bastards. NATE: Yeah, I might've let her steal the wrong coordinates ME: Yup, that's what she gets for tricking Nate into helping her find what she needed
I normally dislike movies [like this one] which rely on total fakery but I enjoyed this movie, mostly because of Tom and Mark and the subtle comedy. The build-up of this movie was also done more in the style of blockbuster movies of the 70s before they started cheapening the movie stories, but paid outrageous salaries to ho-hum actors.
4:00: Doesn't Braddock's death remind y'all 2 the death of Nessa, the Wicked Witch of the East in the Wonderful Wizard 0f Oz? 🌪🏠🧙♀️🧹👠 Only instead of a house it's a ship 😂🚢😂 Ding Dong The Witch is Dead 🚢🧙♀️😵
I think they chose way wrong for the characters. Sully should have been played by burt reynolds and Nathan drake should have been played by Ryan reynolds. It would have been perfect they look just like they real people and they could both easily play those roles.
This movie was extremely stupid, especially this part carrying 500 ton ships that realistically would have disintegrated upon lifting. but it was a fun ride 😉
I never was a fan of adventure flicks, but they were at least trying to be realistic, well-paced, and interesting in the recent past. This movie is too loud, too empty, it's boring and annoying. There's a time when the soundtrack is underused, but here music it's overused. The target audience of this cinematic generation is lacking something. Funny, Pirates of the Caribbeans 1 were better even if that's a close gap.

Magellan's ship has sailed one last time before dying
Moral of the story; always in I repeat always store your huge bag of pirated gold in a secure space on your get away helicopter

Like what gives?
Either be unrealistic or realistic.
Earlier before, Mark gave Tom earpieces to communicate. Tom must've lost it or became broken during the fight.
The helicopter is way too loud for the earpieces
Also Mark put on his headset, so he can’t hear Tom
Realistically the Filipino officials will steal the gold. They have another Marcos as president🤦♂️
They were having air pirate ship battle and your worried about them hearing each other over the helicopters? Lmao just enjoy the cheese 🧀
That pirate ship has a 10 times more heavy than helicopter 🤣
Oh that's it! Iron man's mark 45 weighing 12 pounds was able to hold 50 tons easily

❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ Tom and mark
While this is not a great adaptation, it is a great action movie.
It better then other adaptations of other games.
Well, it does feel like an Uncharted game, so yeah, it's great! Wish the cast was a bit better
It was an absolutely terrible adaptation, one of the worst's of all video games
I just like how the gold went back where it came from - The Philippines
Talk about the world's lightest cannonball
I loved this movie and how it has Easter eggs from the games are amazing
3:51 Release that flagship, they're losing altitude, lighten the low.
Instead of wasting time overthinking, he could have just thrown the Gold in the cockpit and helpDrake up
Just throw a gold bar at her face
Yeah or even throw one or two gold bars at Braddock. Gold is super heavy so if sully hit her head with the gold that’d probably be enough to knock her off the ship.
You know what makes this better listening to new devon the extended version while you watch
I am so glad we have all just universally forgotten about this movie
Not me
Haters gonna hate, it was a nice movie
@@xray3268 I had a good time with this movie. At least it is not as horrible as other adaptations out there

Yeah. Plus, I didn't play the games, so I didn't have any "angry offended hardcore fanboy" symptoms.
@@xray3268 It was mediocre

the S-64 wouldn't be able to carry a pirate ship
This is clearly some modified fictional version
There’s always that guy
No helicopter in existence would be able to carry a pirate ship (unless it's being piloted by Dom Torretto of course).
It was running on nitrous
