Just a heads up, but this video got copyright claimed and my attempts to trim it have proven futile, so I'm probably going to re-edit the video and upload it again. Thanks to everyone who's supported the video thus far. Hopefully the new video won't have the same issue.

Anyone thinking they would be better than Boromir are kidding themselves. What a great man in such a compromised position.

This was such a good video! Poor Boromir tends to be criticized for his failure at the end, but immediately demonstrates his goodness by protecting Merry and Pippin until his last breath. Frodo knew Boromir was a good man with a lot of pressure on his shoulders. It’s saddening that their last conversation ended up so abruptly and tense.

Without reading the book when first seeing that, his appeal to Frodo came off as creepy. The background that you provide explains his desperation as one for the survival of his people and in fact all of Middle Earth.

Thank you so much to everyone who has supported the channel thus far. I really appreciate it.
Just a few updates. I've seen the comments saying I need a better mic and will admit that the one I'm using is old now. I do have a new one, but it only came in recently, not in time for this video. Hopefully my next video will have better audio.
Speaking of my next video, I'm probably going to move on from Rings of Power now that it's over. My channel name may be a reference, but my channel isn't a Lord of the Rings only channel. I'll do something else for my next video. As to what that might be, you'll just have to wait to find out. Thanks for watching, and I'll see you soon. 😊

Such a great showcase scene of the corrupting power of the ring. The ring uses Boromir's desire to defend his people to manipulate him in doing evil.

I appreciate that you like the scene. It is one of my favorites as well. But there is one mistake in your analysis. Galadriel doesn't mean Boromir when she speaks to Frodo about the one to take the ring. She means Sauron as he is the one to enslave everyone should Frodo fail in his mission to destroy the ring. But other than that. Good video.
