We give Lucas and Jake the game room bedroom makeover of their dreams! We had a few issues on the way, but this surprise bedroom makeover for teens was so much fun! You also get a bedroom tour along the way!

I think it’s great moving their rooms and then turning the bigger one to like an office/guest room and then that way guests can have their own personal space and Ariana can hangout in there too when she wants alone time when she’s home

Also, I think it's sweet how they really wanted to stay together, a lot of teens would rather have their own space.

This is my favorite makeover. I can't imagine as a kid if I'd come back home and my mom told me I was in a whole new room, but this would have been totally worth it. I love how well everything seemed to be their vibe, and what dude wouldn't love a light up shoe wall!

Making the "big" room a guest room makes sense. Since it already has a kitchenette, you can add a coffee/tea area, for guests that stay. This way they can get up, get a cup of coffee, before going out and spending time with the family.
That was probably my favorite room makeover so far. I’m also going to say Jake and Lucas had the best reaction. First freaking because they thought they were separated but then they were so happy. I loved it. There is only one person I feel sorry for. Poor Dad he’s tired of makeovers. 😂 Yes makeover for Alex and Savanna’s room. That will be fun.
So many things to love.... first of all the only reason the boys looked disappointed at first was that they wanted to stay together in the same room. They love their bro. Love that!! Second, the kids are treated so well, which is awesome, but also is how appreciative they are for all the work and effort you put in. They LOVED it. And also, that the whole family can come together and pitch in to get the job done. ✅ And well done Aaron as well. You get extra props for your patience in putting together yet another two beds. You should win an award Aaron!! We see you!! Lots of love to Crystal and your whole fam. Keep doing what you are doing! 💕👍

Excellent room makeover - as usual! Well done Crystal and team! *** On another note, I worry when I see Aaron really tired all the time/falling asleep… has he talked to his doctor about his sleep issues? It could be sleep apnea, which can fly under the radar for the person affected. Anyway I hope he takes time to look after himself! He’s so good at taking care of everyone else, but he needs to make himself a priority when it comes to his own health.
@@letitiakearney2423 glad to know it’s not just me. I myself have sleep apnea so I was seeing the signs… it’s important to check it out- whatever it may be.
Deffo worth checking, but also worth noting, Aaron does a LOT of the physical work around the house, along with cooking, and I assume he’s still doing all his late night online stuff too, so it could be age catching up with him x

I first thought Jake said they want the old room. But the said they want to be together. So good to see two teenage boys getting along so well.

I love Jake and Lucas's room. I didn't even feel bad when Crystal was telling them about the surprise and Jake said he wanted to stay in his other room. I just knew he was going to love the new one
I thought he said that too but turns out he actually said "We're not in the same room? I wanted to stay in the same room he is", meaning he just wanted to be in the same room as Luke, that's why Crystal replied that they'll be in the same room
Honestly I think this is my favorite one other than when you did the bunkbeds for the little ones! I love how humble your kids are honestly I hope mine grow to be as sweet as yours!! Also Max oh my goodness keep your mom on her toes much? I love the goofball aesthetic that he throws off! And as he gets older every time I see him I’m like gosh he is a mini version of Aaron! Love love love watching these videos actually I love watching all of your videos but you know what I mean! Much love to you and yours!

Very Cool, just Love it! When I was home (YEARS AGO) I came home & my room had a canopy bed, new dresser, a phone (before cell phones) fresh paint to match the canopy, just beautiful. So happy for the boy's!!

I'm curious why you buy new beds each time you makeover a room. What happens to the kid's old beds? You must have a lot of spare furniture. Love you channel and great work making your kids feel so special.

The gesture is really good and they clearly loved the makeover, but I think this shows how sometimes a really nice gesture with good intentions can feel not so good in at least one tiny part. A child’s bedroom can sometimes feel like an extension of themselves or a safe space, so in my opinion asking first and letting them know when this is happening can make it even better of a surprise ✨ c: it doesn’t take the element of surprise because that’s still present when telling them the news of this gift 🌟 AND the fact that they were asked first directly can make them feel even better about it subconsciously, when your opinion is directly taken into consideration it feels different, and I guess I different sense of agency.
I could be projecting, but as we grow older we tend to want more agency over us and our rooms (that’s why teens start to personalize more their rooms). I hope this is not taken badly and just as another way to see it that could lead to different ways of doing things, we are always changing and learning new ways to do things and that’s the way I see this as well ❤️

I think some of you are not watching the whole video nor understanding what’s being said. 🤔 Bigger doesn’t mean better, and a smaller room is easier to clean and honestly feels a lot cozier. They have stated their plans for the big room, as someone was saying “I wonder what plans they have for it”, it’s right there in the video folks. Jake wasn’t complaining of the big room, if you LISTENED, he was starting to get upset at the thought of not sharing with Lucas anymore🙃 ofc probably also the room change without a warning ahead, as I’d get a bit upset even if I loved my new room but you can listen to him, guys✋🏽 don’t make assumptions when you can literally watch the video, and listen to what’s being said.

I think they've purchased about 115 beds in the past year. Like...why not just use the beds they have. What do you do with the other beds. Must be nice to constantly spend $$$$$$$$ . Only beds we get are free from craigslist or family hand me downs .
Well they do donate those beds and they worked hard that's why they can spend $$$.
