Please keep doing this tutorials like this in the sense that you are zooming in on FCX to see where exactly you are clicking. This is super super helpful. Some tutorials just dont show things close enough for us to understand what they are doing. Thumbs up
I'm glad that you notice those little details because it is one thing I consider when putting together these tutorials. I want to make sure that it is easy to understand and not too overwhelming

This is some solid gold knowledge. I like that you keep your instructions to the point. I'm a total novice on film editing and I'm super nervous learning new things like mask tutorial. Keep up the great work!
This was truly easy to follow and understand. Thank you so much dude, it was even to the point more than other videos so I didn’t get lost or zone out the entire time. I just found this video so forgive me if you covered any question(s) i may have. But would you also consider doing a video explaining key-framing? As simple as the few guys said it was in their videos I still don’t quite understand how to successfully do it. Thanks
This really helped me, and I'll tell you right now the reason I clicked on it is because it was 3 minutes long and you explained it quickly, clearly, and simply. Thank you!
Thank you for everything you’ve done so far I’ve been following you on RUclips for the past six months or so and I’ve been learning so much from your edits You are such a really talented person thank you again. Love and peace from halfway around the world. 😇
see you do the frame by frame masking method. Are you a believer in skipping every few frames to make it more "realistic"? I've been doing it your way ever since I started
That's actually a good question.. I've never really thought about skipping a few frames when keyframing. That is something I might test out today =) Thanks for bringing that up!
Nice masking Bryan, my question is how do you do the same thing but vertically? I have seen it in your Toronto video..I want to mask into another scene when the camera is panning down, how do you do that? I know side to side with any object but how you do it if is up or down when transitioning to another shot? Hope I'm not confusing you..keep doing videos like this, thanks so much
Hey Randy, if you need to mask a video that is vertical, it will be the exact same steps. If anything, send me a screenshot of what you're doing and I'll take a look
@@BryanFranciscothanks, I will give it a try and see what I can come up with, thanks so much..also, I want you to do a video of how to do editing using proxy media..I heard it is a lot smoother for editing..the rendering of regular clips can be time consuming..also, a video in low light, I recently shot a great wolf lodge and started messing with the iso thinking it was too dark and ended up messing a lot of great footage with the high grain or noise on my clips., I didnt know and was so disappointed..anyways, thanks again bro, and keep doing your thing, we appreciate you
Thank you for this great video!! :) Do you know whether we can make our own (custom) folders to add in them our favorite transitions and our favorite effects (so we don't have to browse through everything everytime we want to quickly add an effect, or transition)?
Its like lovely video I have learned Final Cut Pro from ur videos only I tried this also but my transition is not smooth as u did can u please explain any reason
I use PP once in a while. I just feel like I can get my work done faster and more efficiently with FCPX. But I'm sure if I used PP more consistently i would feel the same way about it

Best part about your tutorials is you keep them short, simple and straight to the point. A lot of others will drag it on 10+ minutes. Nice tutorial
I try to keep the tutorials as short as possible. As long as i can get the main points across

Have you done any fcpx tutorials about how to archive or move old projects to external drives?
Not yet but thanks for the suggestion! Will look into it

I like your intro a lot, did you make it or it can be bought?!
Please upload your raw footage.. And share with us
