I just realized this is the first time I listened to a Japanese song cover by Pea (and soon found out there are a bunch more). The pronunciation is very good! Won't be surprised if Pea actually knows Japanese.
@@PeaLeaf I'm also not a Japanese native speaker, but I love singing Japanese songs as well, and that's exactly why I know how nuanced it can be when it comes to pronunciation, even with intentional mimicking. I'm not in the position to say "good job" or anything, all I can say is that this cover (and many other covers as well) has been very enjoyable to listen to and thank you for the wonderful performances! (I think Kimi no Shiranai Monogatari would be another song that could potentially suit your voice really well, too! *wink wink
pealeaf told me to come by and comment, i can't do her voice, which is a shame because she gives a clarion call to strength and to courage, so i'm so grateful to have heard it, and the harmonies, oh! the first time i heard pea's voice i was captured by the beautiful gravity of her low end, so it's so startling and empowering to hear her perfect soaring high end too. wow!! i continue to be grateful
Chills!!! I've been watching Pealeaf's streams the last couple of times and I will be seeing Amanda tomorrow at Carnegie Hall for FFXVI Distant Worlds. Who would've thought we would get the best of both worlds! Please do more collabs and maybe Pealeaf will have a chance to sing for one of the next square enix games. Of course this wouldn't happen as well without Chewie's support.
