New remixes from modern games. Since the last remix of a relevant Kirby game was in Brawl for squeak squad. Bring more music from modern games since half of it in smash is from only 4 old games and a buncha more spirits like King-Dmind, Taranza, etc. Theres a video out there about it
Honestly, Frisk is my most wanted character for Smash too. While I am still just really happy Sans got a Mii Costume along with Megalovania, I can't help dreaming about how amazing it would be to have all my favorite Undertale songs in Smash, with Frisk also being a truly unique character. While I agree with you about Frisk not having amazing chances or anything, I'll keep on holding out hope until the Fighter's Pass is finally wrapped up.
I realized that the Sans costume was revealed during the same Nintendo Direct where they announced the second Fighters Pass. I wonder if we’re going to look back at that when Frisk is revealed as the final fighter and say “oh...OH!” That’s just my theory though...perhaps they knew exactly what they were doing way back in 2019.

The only thing that I’ll say is, on your argument that it’s really between Frisk and Shantae for an indie fighter, I would also include the Knight from Hollow Knight. Nintendo has pushed that series a lot, with Reggie specifically commenting on it during E3 2018. The sequel, Hollow Knight Silksong, is not only a console exclusive for the switch, but the demo was given a Nintendo Treehouse Spotlight...AT E3 2019!

I doubt Frisk would have any chance to be in smash but I really hope so. Undertale has been my fave game for years now and having more choice of Undertale characters in smash would really make a difference for me and many others.
@@lucipiez I’m glad to hear that, but honestly as a fighter that wouldn’t flatter definitely him since i mean he did hold back in the final battle but for Smash, that would probably work out since he would bodied everyone if he went all out in his Hyperdeath form, but i would love to see how they do his moveset.
The best stage if Frisk got in would be Judgement Hall in my opinion. It doesn't need to have any gimmick apart from only showing the silhouettes maybe.

I dislike Undertale because it's disturbing to me, specifically speaking the genocide and pacifists routes thing. Though it's okay if you want Frisk in, after all you'll be happy to see Frisk get in! Also, Toby seems like a really amazing person! Also also, yes the music would be amazing to add in. Kris would be awesome, as would any character from the UT series, but I very much doubt we’d get a character from a game that’s not even finished yet. Maybe they could get a Mii Swordfighter costume alongside Frisk.
Frisk should be the final dlc character, to to symbolize that indie characters are important. And I’m not saying that they aren’t, even tho Undertale is my favorite franchise, I feel it that is kinda dying in some aspects but not in me. Honestly I would just want this game to go out in a bang and be represented as something special.
Frisk is a solid pick, But honestly Terraria would be much better in my opinion. I know I'm definitely biased, but Terraria is also the 18th best selling game of all time. I know we already have Steve, who is gonna work very similarly to most of the things a Terraria player, (or Terrarian), but there's a mana mechanic which can work as like an ammo-like mechanic. And the terrarians' building ability can simply be limited to a final smash. The rest can be related to his range and high mobility.
"Can an indie character even make it into Smash" - Arguably it already happened. Sure, Mojang are owned by Microsoft now, but that came after Minecraft's ludicrous amounts of success, so the game - and with it Steve.
Oh shoot, I was going to make a footnote about that in the video. You’re definitely right in that Minecraft made a name for itself before Microsoft came into the picture, but because they’re now owned by Microsoft I consider Steve to be more of a grey area than a true indie rep if that makes sense.
Spoilers: My personal choice for Undertale would be final boss form Asriel. I know he'd get hate for kinda being a furry-like character... but I wouldn't really give a shit. Undertale is the one thing I'm immune to the hate for. I was younger and especially impressionable when I first played the game, and his whole story/fight has stuck with me. Definitely my favorite boss fight ever, from chilling intro to heartfelt finish. ~11 year old me slipped into a full-blown 2 week long sad spell because of Undertale, and the encounter with him. Played the game 12 times since then, True Pacifist every time (so 6 true pacifist endings).
I just feel like there would be no way to implement the pacifist mechanic of Undertale in a FIGHTING game. The way I see it, if anyone from Undertale were to be a fighter, it would've been Sans. I do agree that Undertale should have a fighter in Smash though, there's tons of potential with music tracks and stages.
I’m currently working on a moveset for Frisk, which I feel is really able to capture the pacifist/genocide mechanic to an extent. It’s important to remember that in Undertale, pacifist doesn’t mean not fighting, just not killing.
Undertale is amazing, my only issue would be that Toby Fox made his game to highlight its many characters and so frisk as a character is meh and like any moveset they can come up with would kinda just be like reaching and boring I guess. Putting Frisk with like attacks of the bosses would be so reaching and wouldnt make sense, and like giving them the weapons of the game would be so generic. I feel like maybe a boss monster would be better suited but thats another issue who? Sans is like an Easter egg fight spoiler(everyone knows about it bit like it doesnt even show up in the main playthrough of the game) Papyrus would get ripped to smiling shreds, Undyne is cool but they dont represent all of UT either. It is 100% possible but theyd have to work some magic, and most likely will end up not being a totally original character/not interesting playstyle. Definitely possible for Sure but I think Nintendo would go for Sans honestly because I dont think they Understand Undertale for what it is and why its successful and just go with the ballot. I think it will happen maybe in a different Smash game if its still relevant I suppose but yeah. Also Mercy option in smash would be so awful.
Asriel’s, my pick because he has the best move set to pull from mainly since he has so many named attacks, and i feel he would have a unique enough play style even if he would be light like Mewtwo.

@@lucipiez I’m glad to hear that, but honestly as a fighter that wouldn’t flatter definitely him since i mean he did hold back in the final battle but for Smash, that would probably work out since he would bodied everyone if he went all out in his Hyperdeath form, but i would love to see how they do his moveset.

If we get Frisk my two favorite games (including Minecraft) are finally represented the way the should be. All I’m missing from my top three then would be Portal 2 content.
I dislike Undertale because it's disturbing to me, specifically speaking the genocide and pacifists routes thing. Though it's okay if you want Frisk in, after all you'll be happy to see Frisk get in! Also, Toby seems like a really amazing person! Also also, yes the music would be amazing to add in.
My personal wants are King Boo, Ratchet and Clank, Crash Bandicoot, Nabbit, the Captain Quartet from Mario and Luigi remakes, Fawful a bit, etc.

Whenever I think of the Genocide route, I can't help but think about the genocide attempt by the Conquistadors to my Aztec roots. They, of course, failed in the anhilation but not in the Genocide. And more disturbing thoughts float around but I don't think I should continue elaborating since I don't want to disturb you or trouble you with my personal opinions, and I am sorry if I offended your passion for the game, I kind of needed to provide an explanation. So sorry for troubling you with this.

@@RapidPhantom293 a very short amount of time. His popularity skyrocketed because of memes to the point he became the face of the game in many peoples eyes, and I reckon we wouldn't be putting him or any undertale character in smash if everyone didn't know who sans is by now.

Frisk should be the final dlc character, to to symbolize that indie characters are important. And I’m not saying that they aren’t, even tho Undertale is my favorite franchise, I feel it that is kinda dying in some aspects but not in me. Honestly I would just want this game to go out in a bang and be represented as something special.

Frisk is a solid pick,
But honestly Terraria would be much better in my opinion. I know I'm definitely biased, but Terraria is also the 18th best selling game of all time. I know we already have Steve, who is gonna work very similarly to most of the things a Terraria player, (or Terrarian), but there's a mana mechanic which can work as like an ammo-like mechanic. And the terrarians' building ability can simply be limited to a final smash. The rest can be related to his range and high mobility.
I would probably see sans in the next smash game because I think he has the best chance of an undertale character

You’re definitely right in that Minecraft made a name for itself before Microsoft came into the picture, but because they’re now owned by Microsoft I consider Steve to be more of a grey area than a true indie rep if that makes sense.

My personal choice for Undertale would be final boss form Asriel. I know he'd get hate for kinda being a furry-like character... but I wouldn't really give a shit. Undertale is the one thing I'm immune to the hate for. I was younger and especially impressionable when I first played the game, and his whole story/fight has stuck with me. Definitely my favorite boss fight ever, from chilling intro to heartfelt finish. ~11 year old me slipped into a full-blown 2 week long sad spell because of Undertale, and the encounter with him. Played the game 12 times since then, True Pacifist every time (so 6 true pacifist endings).

I just feel like there would be no way to implement the pacifist mechanic of Undertale in a FIGHTING game. The way I see it, if anyone from Undertale were to be a fighter, it would've been Sans. I do agree that Undertale should have a fighter in Smash though, there's tons of potential with music tracks and stages.
I’m currently working on a moveset for Frisk, which I feel is really able to capture the pacifist/genocide mechanic to an extent. It’s important to remember that in Undertale, pacifist doesn’t mean not fighting, just not killing.

I'd make another prediction, but unlike with Minecraft, I didnt grow up with Undertale :/
Undertale is amazing, my only issue would be that Toby Fox made his game to highlight its many characters and so frisk as a character is meh and like any moveset they can come up with would kinda just be like reaching and boring I guess. Putting Frisk with like attacks of the bosses would be so reaching and wouldnt make sense, and like giving them the weapons of the game would be so generic. I feel like maybe a boss monster would be better suited but thats another issue who? Sans is like an Easter egg fight spoiler(everyone knows about it bit like it doesnt even show up in the main playthrough of the game) Papyrus would get ripped to smiling shreds, Undyne is cool but they dont represent all of UT either. It is 100% possible but theyd have to work some magic, and most likely will end up not being a totally original character/not interesting playstyle. Definitely possible for Sure but I think Nintendo would go for Sans honestly because I dont think they Understand Undertale for what it is and why its successful and just go with the ballot. I think it will happen maybe in a different Smash game if its still relevant I suppose but yeah. Also Mercy option in smash would be so awful.
Asriel’s, my pick because he has the best move set to pull from mainly since he has so many named attacks, and i feel he would have a unique enough play style even if he would be light like Mewtwo.
