Walmart Faces Multiple Store Closings As The Retail Apocalypse Aggravates

  • Things are going downhill, and they're going downhill fast. Walmart is the biggest supermarket in the United States. According to the official tracking metrics of Walmart's income levels, the annual revenue of this superstore chain is just over 611 billion dollars.
So why is Walmart closing its stores? Walmart is facing multiple closures and besides the stores Walmart closed in 2023, a dozen more stores had been considered one of the few lifelines for many communities across the United States.
They are actually beginning to close these lifelines. Patriots, it's time to stock up and buckle down. We, the American People, have been thrown under the bus, stepped on by our elected representatives, and sold out. We're about to face a retail apocalypse like we've never seen before, so get ready.

Well by my estimation we're already in it I mean look at what's happening everyone's basically being priced out I mean it's pretty much you're either on the wealthy side or you are poor which is basically extremely there's no really in between anymore and no I'm not just talking about the middle class first off the middle class in my book became the new upper middle high class basically somewhere between 07 and 9:00 because if you survive that whole thing and especially if you then became in a position to pay most of your debts off or down then you were able to ride out most of last decade just fine and nowadays you're probably in an even better position you're not exactly at that point the typical middle class anymore you're actually technically above it of course I would argue that if you came through that time making anywhere near $50,000 a year you're not really the middle class especially in a time where all the other jobs are being devalued.
That said there's also a lot of job shifting amongst the classes I mean after all they've divided the shit out of retail manager to the point where you could go be a store manager for 1350 to $15 an hour that's a job that used to pay a bit of a wide range but you're talking about 45 to 65,000 a year not anymore my friend very few places to do that so basically the middle class had to find something else to get because you're no longer really a middle class manager unless you work something like home Depot I mean the fucking assistant managers over there clean up.
I would have to say and of course the past 10 years and of course I believe even today that the vast majority of the workforce that you would call middle class is not based on the old bullshit $50,000 a year income that's garbage that was a lie even back in the 90s I mean look around it made that kind of money maybe a guy down at the office made that kind of money but for the most part the vast majority never saw anywhere near 50 Grand so I'm sorry their concept of that being the average income is garbage and nowadays when you figure out the devaluation of jobs I would have to say the majority of what the true middle class makes is somewhere between 25 and 32,000 a year beyond that I would say you're doing pretty decent you're not exactly the top dog but you're not completely out on your ass when you step into the 40 to 45 range yeah I would say at that point your engine more toward the new high class middle class at $50,000 a year I'm sorry you're above the middle class if you're making that kind of fucking money.
I mean we're in a position nowadays that it's completely crazy to wear potential employers cause inflation it's like I live in Licking county Ohio and I can tell you that ever since fucking the Intel bullshit got started around here oh my God it's like a 200 mile fucking rating you can't rent anything in a decent price anymore I mean on a good day you can find 725 per month on a rental and it's usually going to be some shit apart and it's not always going to be in a decent area on the typical day you're looking at more like 850 dollars and it still might not really be in the best of areas 1100 bucks a month is becoming the fucking Norm with big pushes being made towards $1,400 a month this area was never set up to handle this this is some fucking New York.
I mean a lot of employers are just now coming around concept that they really ought to be paying $15 an hour well it's too little too late and then they wonder why they can't get anybody everybody is trying to go get better paying jobs and they're largely trying to get the fuck out of here that's basically what I'm buying my wife of course it is realized that there's almost no word run it's basically the same story no matter where you go even if you go far far away from Intel's influence and all of the inflation that has been caused there's still a certain amount of the bullshit and then it's a double-edged sword it might be a bit cheaper to live in the area but you also don't make any fucking money so good luck paying the house payments and or the bills it's basically crap either direction you turn.
At this point I would say it's the retired folks that probably have it the best out of all of us I mean if you can pull down you know over 13 1400 a month for not really working or not doing very much I'd say you're the best position the rest of us that are trying to slug it out for $2,200 bucks a month it's like we are literally on the wrong side of all of this you know we might seem like we have more money but we really don't.
Of course that number I gave is basically for most people before taxes so it best you might get somewhere between 15 to 1800 a month well that's no help if you're fucking rent is pretty much about a thousand bucks and then you got to figure at least 300 around here for the fucking utilities you are it's like 145 hours a month on the cheap I mean we're being fucking priced out it's basically the elimination of not just middle class but everybody in the bargain basement seller of the classes.

Shopping at Walmart really did not save money. Slightly cheaper milk, clenser and shampoo, really does not make a dent overall. What makes a difference is not buying thing that are a" product". Buy whole foods and basic ingredients for cleaners. Buy hotel bulk health and beauty items. I did not want to share my secret because I really don't want everone to catch on....but thats whats cheapest. In fact, I regret I paid so much more for years, mostly at walmart unfortunately. They got my money but clearly dont care about the customer.

Not necessarily you have to understand that that company much like most of their competitors have taken on way way too much debt and I will say that the non-business types usually fire back and made with some bullshit about how all of these businesses have you know some amount of debt oh yeah business always did carry a bit of a debt to income ratio this is true but nothing like what the fuck we have seen blown up since 2005 if you go back and look at the balance sheets of most retailers including those that are no longer with us such as Lazarus you will find that in and around 2005 they all took on huge sums dead for no real fucking reason they didn't bother to really remodel any other stores and a lot of these companies never really had much of an expansion program so it's not like they blew the money on the building locations only to go out of business 10 years later that never happened for most of these companies most of those companies borrowed that money so that they can buy their own stock and then fleet the fucking price this is the debt they're caring Walmart would not be above that game after all this is a company that takes out life insurance policies on their workers.
The problem that the entire retail industry face at this point is literally the problem they have faced pretty much forever but definitely heavily concentrated within the past 18 years and then super concentrated with the past four years and that is that there's an income to deficiency across the population and it's getting worse oh sure you had a bit of a jubilee with a bit of stimulus flying around 4 years ago but most of that money went up and smoke the minute people cash the check it was only a Grand illusion that made it look like it lasted for a couple of years it was a lie.
Just like every year the tax refund sees it gives retailers a bit of a boost and it especially boosts your local car lot shyster but after that little honeymoon somewhere around fucking April to may completely wears off it's back to doing dog shit amounts of business.
The truth is most of these companies are zombie companies they make basically enough money to pretend to pay the staff they make enough money to service the debt they make just enough money to reorder products to do it all over again they very rarely ever run a surplus and when they do they usually figure out a new inventive way to waste it and it's usually buying their own shares they don't do any real investments Walmart is a little different in terms they always did believe investment of the business and they still are pretty good at but of course they are slipping this is why they had a hiring freeze last year that hiring freeze has never really gone away.
People look at the biggest nails in the market and they seem to think that they're too big to fail and I'm telling you that's a very bad viewpoint to have because a lot of the times it's usually the most unsuspecting that fail.

Well it's true they're probably not sad shape that JCPenney's is it or Macy's or Kohl's but they are in nearly the same situation that is the customers they do get are spending less everybody is being very cautious about what your purchasing for every person that might waste an extra 10 to $30 there's about 25 people who don't then there's a situation to where the stores themselves including Walmart but even the dollar store counterparts have as we've known for some years now they've taken down a lot of shelving they've spaced out made wider aisles which means they've eliminated products they're trying to hone in on what sells the fastest basically what they're discovering is a lot of shit out of the health and beauty department and of course groceries and a few items closing and maybe a couple other odds and ends via something out of hardware once in awhile perhaps a couple of electronics and a few hunting supplies that's about what Walmart is being reduced to frankly it's about what any stories being reduced to of course a lot of Walmart's competitors they don't bother with hunting gear so they're primarily reduced to a few clothing items what groceries they carry and the health and beauty section that's it nothing else really sells.
It's like for instance it may eventually sell but how many people are going to walk past that item before it ever sells I mean it could be a hundred people so how long does it set there before it actually sells in other words how much money have they actually lost on that product before it ever sells and of course they record that as a loss and they know not to order that product again problem is what do you put in its place that is the current problem in bottleneck with retailers particularly retailers that host $230,000 to 450,000 square feet of sales floor space.
You have to realize that not just a lot of locations but the general format of the layout of their stores doesn't matter if it's Walmart or some other company the bottom line is these locations were built for a time that no longer exist people cannot support it when you open the store you're basically asking the public to buy your shit to support not only you but your business on top of it.
It's like last decade they tried to cover all this up by running around and playing the internet and that was a story for stupid people it served a couple of different purposes number one it was to cover up the fact that shit management runs all of these joints and shit management is the ones that's driven these companies into the ground and they've done so largely through debt.
The second purpose of blaming the internet was they could cover up for an entire industry as people watch it fold up before their eyes it was a way to basically gaslight public blame the public for it while at the same time of course it serves the bidding of the politicians politicians take a lot of flack shit changes within the public space specially because this could be in reduction of jobs but if we blame the internet then it deflects what's really going on if people are stupid enough to believe it unfortunately people were in fact there's still some idiots out there that believe the internet is to blame little do they know blaming the internet is literally blaming those very retailers because those very retailers are the fucking internet and have been since the mid-90s they've all had a website with the capability of selling directly to you and or you would go and pick it up at the store it's not new technology people.
Basically blaming the internet gave the government as a whole pass to cover up the fact that there's an income to efficiency across the board that is the big punchline of all of this that is the big takeaway that I think you need to focus on that's why they're always out to blame something or trying to blame young people they're trying to blame the internet is very detrimental I know this is a retail and business manager with over 20 years experience I can certainly say that it's nothing to ignore but I can also say it is certainly not the root cause of the retail industry's problems but it serves as a deflection from the cause of the problem and that problem is literally there's an income deficiency across the population is it by the way is getting worse.

And I say that as a previous small business owner my prices which I had a bait shop was right at or below the cost of Walmart you can compete they just didn't want to you have to understand that most mom and pop shops especially the disappeared in the 90s through the early days and some of which today they were family owned businesses that basically had a choke hold on the area for so long that when another business opened up no matter if it was a bigger company like Walmart or a dollar store it introduced competitions that they never had to deal with they could have adjusted prices but they refused to do something are there legitimate cases where they really were put out of business yes but for every one of those cases there's like 36 that are bullshit.

And of course for the past 18 years if not 23 years it's been very popular for these guru to come out of nowhere and try to predict the future if I'm going to listen to anyone's predictions particularly about the economics of things I would probably be more so interested in what Gerald celente would have to say
      Or Karl denninger.
All of the said yes I can say that we are definitely on that trajectory however I argue that the fucking depression is already here it has been here what we managed to do is just put a better looking face but you're over here it gets worse this is why all these states are making all of these anti-squatting laws all the sudden they're making all of these anti-squatting laws based on they know that it's going to get worse and they do know that people are going to get desperate and they do know that when they see a nice warm house Pandora at least a house that probably has some food inside somebody's going to get the notion to kick open the fucking door if it's empty so they want an immediate response to this this is why they're making those laws about how the cops can just straight up arrest it's not really about the protection of the homeowner or any other property owner commercial or otherwise residential it also basically doubles his even if the city doesn't want you somewhere they can basically just copy and stuff you.
Everybody supports these laws because yes on the surface they seem like a pretty good idea they're not exactly wrong but dig a little deeper and you find out that by supporting most of this laws what you are in effect doing is helping them outlaw your future self because I can assure you most people with a mortgage today will probably be people of the street tomorrow.

Shopping at Wally World saves the average American thousand$ a year. Are they prefect? Nope. Do they employ millions of Americans, yes & Walmart is the largest employer in 22 states. But if intercity hellholes are losing money, close them till the city governments fix themselves(yeah right).

thefts are part of the reason for this, you can order online and still claim you didnt get it or it was damaged and as long as its an ebt or link card they just refund you no questions asked and theres to many people doing it same for credit cards and fast food chains my wife owns a small portion of a franchise and last year we had to upgrade the credit card reader to start blocking everyone who had did a refund on their order, the banks might reinburse yall for the "theft" but the company takes the loss of product as well as the profit when you do and then this is the outcome we lose a chain that might be the only lifeline of that town. and the baltimore bridge collapse wasnt an accident it was just made to look like one our economy is under attack and its all planned. the best way to attack a forgein country is to start by breaking down the economy after that its allowing chaos to ensue and finally we can be invaded and taken over with little to no resistance.

Well I can certainly say a business recent manager with over 20 years experience that Seth has always been detrimental to the business I'm at the industry as a whole interacts up when hell of a bill every year I mean we're talking at least a billion dollars but I can also say at the same time said theft is not the root of their problem it's a money loser it contributes to the money losses yes but most of their problems that are playing out today is a series of shit decisions that these idiots made 10 to 15 if not 18 years ago these companies do not turn on a die so whatever decisions they make today can very well take 18 years to carry out and half of the time it may only be a quarter implemented and it's a bad idea and they know it but they're assholes and so they will not change their mind usually the only way a bad decision gets reversed is when a CEO is replaced and or a board is replaced.
So the Walmart CEO got on TV January of 23 and tried to blame all of their problems on shop I was probably one of the few that called bullshit on because yes I realize it there again I'm not trying to minimize I'm trying to say that it is not the main problem they're trying to make it out to be they have to believe something nobody believes the internet is to blame anymore finally people why stop you could argue 4 to 6 years ago and really called bullshit on the blaming of the internet so now they have to find something else and it just so happens it's set when people actually sit back and look at the situation and do the math they will figure out that that is by the way not the problem that they're trying to make it out to me but they have to sell it to you this is why the media is in the business of waving around all of the security camera footage they can dig the fuck up they basically help sell the narrative.
The real root cause that all these retailers have faced and by the way it's getting worse is an income deficiency across the population no I'm not saying that as a license for people to go steal not going that direction at all I'm saying simply people are spending less money so they can't hide the cost of the theft see back when times were good or better or even perceived to be better than they are today there was some room to make up the difference and they could cover it up unless you really didn't hear that much about it now that it's getting worse they're not making enough money and so they can get away with pointing the finger theft and of course most people particularly those that don't know jack shit about business will buy it up.
At some point the public really will come around to the idea that though it's detrimental it is nonsense in the manner in which they're saying it's ruining their businesses can it ruin individual locations oh hell yeah I can no kidding.
But that's not exactly company why or is it?
You see that opens up another rabbit hole that steps out of the realm of retail and it's problems but actually goes more toward a societal problem that politics has been used to try and gloss over.
So I'm certain by now you've heard the red State versus Blue State fucking argument where the reds claims it this thievery problem does not happen in their area nor their state.
They go as far as to say this is just a blue State problem and a blue City problem.
      Really now?
If that's the case then how can you say that it really is across the map and it really is detrimental to the bigger company no matter the company meaning it's fucking the entire industry all by the way across the map when they just got done talking about how it doesn't apparently happen in red States nor cities???
And no I'm not trying to defend Democrats that's not the goal of this I'm just saying that these people are walking cluster fuck of contradiction and this is exactly where the CEOs of most of these companies want you to be they want you to know just enough of what they by the way want you to know whether it's true or not it doesn't matter they just wanted you to know that.
Of course the best way to sell a pack of lies is to have a certain amount of Truth surrounding it.
I mean if you pay attention to the past 16 years real heavily you will notice that it doesn't matter if it's a bank a car company or a retailer or any other business all of these executive types have busted their ass to attempt to explain away how things will get better again and this is only temporary and etc etc you'll also take note that most of these motherfuckers went to college with most of the politicians these people have been friends for years so you have the executive loser over in the company who couldn't run a shit house much less a retailer and then you have his loser friend over in Congress or possibly a president somewhere that also could not run a shit house and yet they're going to stand there and tell us that everything is fun and then they're going to come up with all these excuses to try and cover up for the fact that they are a shit heads and terrible managers and I got to do shit like blame the internet or they're going to say oh well but the woke boycott damaged whatever company and now they're completely screwed never mind that their books were going into the red way before whatever boycott come about.

Well there is certainly profitable locations in a lot of areas but how exactly can you yourself say that they're doing well?
Are you going to go with the typical non-business observation that the parking lot is always full and they're hella busy even during the summer months?
Or maybe you know some people that work there that talk about how busy they are all the time and they see people buy two or $300 worth of shit at a time?
Well I will say that the workers observation is probably the most valuable observation but what nobody really gets to see is the actual books unless you are in management somewhere and or friendly enough with the real manager of the joint you may not have much of a clue as to what's going on unless of course you know certain things to pay attention to which of course would be the size of the orders coming in if the size of the orders are consistently small and possibly getting smaller than yes that sends alarm bells off but of course you standing in the parking lot as a customer don't know that.
It has to understand that 99% of what retail is is nothing more than a fucking facade they want you to see them as successful at all times they want you to see them in a sense is something or someone to look up to it's all bullshit basically replace Superman with Walmart if that's exactly how they want you to view them but it's not even just Walmart even the dollars your local gas station they want you to view them in a successful light so they do everything they possibly can to make that facade believable.

Here in Portland all 3 and some Safeways, Fred Meyer (Kroger) are all bailing the center of the city. The homeless and junkies rip off anything not nailed down. I lived in San Francisco for many years and it’s even worse there. This channel is lame…selective data. Well I can say it's not just Walmart this problem is literally across the board.
There's an income deficiency across the population and it's been that way for a very long time now I can easily say 18 years and we know it's been heavily concentrated within the past few years but it's also set in a position that it's going to get far worse it's like where I'm at Central Ohio most of us are pretty much predicting somewhere in the next 5 years although there's a bunch of us that respond to that and say yeah well try a year.
It's kind of like there's really nowhere to run and that alone you know somewhere and you can't maintain whatever is there then you're basically still out on track and there's nowhere to run I mean there's places that are cheap to live but the problem is what the fuck you do for jobs down there you know I've run into that recently trying to hunt for house yeah I found places I really love to go live but I'm also scared to death because a lot of those places are notorious for not having a lot of work particularly decent paying work so how the hell do you make a house payment makes the question why in reality are they selling out.
That's like I've discovered that Northern Ohio is particularly very cheap to live in but I've also realized that that's because everybody is leaving North Ohio meaning there's no fucking jobs there so yeah I mean even if you want to go pay rent you can rent an entire house by the way some of these are fucking immaculate and very nice for $700 a month I mean that's cheaper than down where I'm at which is leaking county see you go to Brown county and do the shed you can go up in a lot of the surrounding counties and get pretty cheap deals you can also buy houses for like 69 to 97,000 but the problem is what do you do for work because you might be able to make enough money working whatever shit shop to make the payments and still have a pretty good cash flow but your bank might decide they don't see that as a viable job then what do you do?
I mean I don't know it occurs to me that it is indeed getting worse and it definitely occurs to me that I don't think there's really much way out of it I think that a lot of us are probably going to do our best to try and rough it off the land the bad part is there is in most cases we wouldn't own land so yeah that's going to be a dispute your best bet there would be to go down basically by the river but there again you may not have the access to it so good luck crossing it the police will definitely take the side of the landing or which I frankly don't blame them I suppose but of course where it gets really nasty is this supposed public land all the sudden you can't be there even though you're supposed to be the public I mean where the fuck do they expect people to go in the middle of the road?
Basically I would say the depression is already here it's just we've got enough laughs and smiles still that were able to someone gloss over a little bit there's still enough companies that don't realize that there's a zombie companies or you know hey they're able to keep up a facade right this goes for retailers especially retail is 98% a facade.

Well I say it's already here people have been struggling for a long time somewhere affordable to live my Podunk ass Central Ohio town I can tell you the past 5 to 6 years I've seen the homeless population grow up I swear it's got to be 200%.
Of course I've noticed how our local police forces are back to cover it up they're literally running those people to the edge of society most of them that's where they are anyway because they don't want to be bothered yeah you have a few obvious tweakers but they are not representative of the past majority but at any rate basically I think our police force is really well basically steal their shit and run them off and if they don't have an arrest record without conveniently create so I think they've gotten their marching orders to stay pretty much out of sight out of mind.
I say that injection with our local sheriff's office simply because back in December of 2011 I was drug to some public thingama Bob's that fucking the sheriff's office I can't remember what it's called sheriff's academy I think my ex-girlfriend wanted to go and we got down to basically the last couple of classes and the sheriff got up before everyone and basically decided he was going to plug for us to go vote for a fucking mental health Levy while at the same time he used that as a Segway into blabbing about the homeless and he basically talked about how those services cut everything they're not really any help etc but yet they still talked about how we need to go vote for them even though they're admittedly not going to help anyone...
10 of course he stood there and anticipated that in the spring of 2012 we were probably going to see a lot of homeless people come through that he said that his department as well as the local city department had anticipated that there's going to be an influx of these people coming through and he even added that we may have already seen some yeah we see in a couple but it wasn't really much write home about.
But of course where this motherfucker got down right tranquet creepy was he threw in the added bonus that he doesn't want to see any of the public talking to that he says that he had ordered his deputies that if they see anybody in the public talking with them etc they are to go and bust up the conversation and run the homeless person off and bitch ass out and no he was not meaning this for just everyone at the supposed class now he was talking about the public at Large but they are literally going to patrol looking for people talking to homeless people.
I held my tongue simply because I was there with that stupid girlfriend but it really made my blood boil because I'm sitting there going well motherfucker what do these people know where have they been what if they seen that you don't fucking want us to know you little government piece of shit?
Yeah I don't really trust people in government cost tips walking around trying to tell everyone else who they can converse with.
So be aware that the anti-homeless bullshit has been out there for quite some time it's propaganda and there's a reason they want you to fear simply because they know it's going to get worse they know it's coming to a head to where they cannot covered up they also are more than aware that many of us will probably end up homeless.
