+jessica martinez SPOILERS IF YOUR NOT UP TO DATE Kevin is dead. He died trying to save him and therfore his family. The ending of Nora ending up taking care of jill is JUST like season 1. She's given someone elses burden, a gift, as more and more people are taken. This contributed to the title 'The Leftovers' as well. This also contributes to the "wishing they were gone" theory. It's outrageous, and even norah, the most subjective of all to the subject admits it. But it would fit perfectly. She was having a poor day with her family. The neighbor wished her daughter could be okay without her. Finally, Norah didn't even wish, she followed through. Norah left, and she's going to regret it.At the end of the cycle, we are all just left over. It's really fucking heartbreaking, watching everything Norah's been through. I reaealllly just want her to be happy, like thats the thing though. Like at first I wasn't huge on the idea of S2 because the ending of S1 was soo perfect but my god this season has been masterful. I'm not sure whats happening but this show has seriously changed how i look at the environment around me in life. Good fucking stuff

Cohen is Cohen, songs can be done and can be good, even awesome like jeff's cover (such a loss when he drowned) but it's a lot like Cash doing covers, a song done by Cash is pretty much a whole different song after that instead of being a comparison. Hurt or One Love are just so different that it's just not comparing the same song anymore. Cohen's version is just radically different and as good, just you have to see the point of his stuff, the poetics of it. Jeff did an amazing version, I love them both but totally different reasons.
