- Today we're gonna cover the jjk chapter 258 leaks! This chapter continues the fight between Yuji VS Sukuna. After Yuji peforms a frenzy of black flashes, it's now Sukuna's turn to shine. Sukuna responds by unleashing his domain expansion: Malevolent Shrine! We see the crew try to endure the rampage of slashes and destruction caused by the power of Malevolent shrine, in the end.... Sukuna finally enchants "Open" and unleashes the flames!

The person that can do the body swapping is yuji not ui ui he has some sort of teleportation technique and what he was saying was that yuji can only swap twice in the month before the fight don't know why that is but im sure we will find out because if you think about it yuji swapped with kusakabe so he could learn his simple domain and cursed energy manipulation why would ui ui be able to use his teleportation technique to swap bodies for two other ppl that makes no sense yuji is the one who is the one that is aware of his soul and thats how sukuna learned the outline of his soul from being in yuji ui ui being able to swap ppls souls is definitely not it and he isn't him like that

The fanbook stated the shrine has at least two attributes meaning it has more, I think it’s more so the shrine is a place where it cooks and absorbs sorcerers, and that’s why Sukuna’s technique has so many parts to it, so I am guessing sukuna has a lot more than flames.

Sukuna using or learning to use Gojo's hand sign makes sense as Gojo was the only sorcerer shown to use a single hand as a domain sign. It's faster and doesn't need a specific position to retain the sign. (Gojo unleased Unlimited Void by using his sign sideways)
In the last few chapter, Sukuna saw how lack of limbs really held him back so now he took the other way around. The 🐐's way.
Pretty sure Yuta also summon his DE with one hand free. Granted, he still need a extra ring so there is that.

I'm hoping that Yuji's domain(if he gets one)has some art reference to it, considering his brothers were the Death Womb paintings; maybe a gallery that creates a field of blood, and all of his absorbed brothers help him jump the target in this case Sukuna since they are to some degree living inside of him.
This actually works out with Kenjaku’s actual goal.

hakari and Uro can have a domain clash with sukuna. Specially Hakari since he has a better regeneration that of Gojo, He can enter the domain in jackpot state and the open antoher domain. Since Sukuna's current domain is incomplete, he can match it and maube win if he has help from others like Maki and Yuji

I read an actual translation on Twitter and it said sukuna use an open domain and because he needed it to still affect maki because the domain was incomplete but he still didn’t reduce the output and difficulty of it that’s why he can only keep it active for 99 seconds. And if you look at the panel where yuji is shown activating simple domain, we also see ino, choso and maki along with someone else activate simple domain. which looks like miwa. I think.

My theory for Ui Ui, is its spatial shifting for humans on a more complex level than boogie woogie. It's likely he can shift the air to be replaced with the body of people they are teleporting, and for the soul swap, it a spatial shift between two people done in the soul specifically. Just a theory but yeah, I guess this explain why no Todo after he lost is arm and technique, since Ui Ui might have a more useful version of it

I think the changed look of the shrine is indicating that Megumi's soul is rising to the surface and fighting for control over the body. Hear me out
Somebody on reddit commented that the new centerpiece of the shrine looks somewhat like Megumi's spine-thing in his domain. Personally I agree- but instead of being a spine its pieces of Sukuna's 10S shikigami fused together. I don't think that the face looks like Yuji's grandpa, I actually think it resembles Meguna's nue.
Now outside of visuals, the strongest evidence imo of this being megumi's influence on sukuna's domain is what the narrator says explicitly this chapter. Itador Yuji targeted the space between Megumi and Sukuna's soul to disrupt his RCT. That is huge. Domain expansions are representations of one's inner domain. And it isn't crazy to say that this inner domain is strongly related to the soul. We saw when Mahito tried to transfigure Yuji, that Sukuna brought him INTO his innate domain.
This implies that trying to transfigure a soul is like transfiguring somebody else's innate domain.
By landing those black flashes on Sukuna and expressly targeting the barrier between megumi and sukuna's soul, I believe Yuji has changed the look of Sukuna's domain to incorporate element's of Megumi's domain and 10S technique. I strongly believe this is Yuji's doing directly, because even standard Meguna's domain expansions vs Gojo didn't look like this. This happened NOW, the same chapter where we learn Yuji did damage to the "soul realms" between their souls.
What this means for the future and Megumi returning idk. But for sure the domain changing shows Yuji making progress in awakening Megumi.

It could be Sukuna is making BV using whats left of Megumi, I dont think his full DE capabilities were recovered but he was so pissed off he wants to end Yuuji now and asap to the point its why he used BVs
