And, what I am most interested in, is how advancements in understanding how low technology will defeat this high technology. High technology's Achilles heel, is its sophistication.

I imagine it will become the norm in the coming decades. I imagine there will be far greater chance of success in difficult surgery and far lower cases of error compared to humans.
This is a very informative program on drones - im from a family of writers, jornalist and publishers - back 500 yrs - my dad was a publisher and wrote editorials constently for his international trade magazines - He was typeing stories even when he was home from the office or home from being on the road doing stories - I was groomed to be a CEO and publisher - i was sent to a boarding school as a kid and all - In my case my mind was on going into the military or working the offshore oilfields - I wound up in the oilfields in the early 70s, half my family was into power generatoon and radio comunications - naturaly offshore rigs and platforms generate there own power so i was in the right place at the right time - I wound up being a oilfield tech - in the early 70s all motor drives were being converted to solidstate drives or SCR motor drives - Ive been through 4 blow outs and choppers that lost powerr with no lasting PTSD to speak of, i cant realy remember much of it - i spent my off time memorising chapters out the word of god in my off time instead of thinking about terrifying blow outs lol - When you do that its called mental transmutation - with a computer you can not delete an entry you can only replace an entry - In my case i just focused on the words of david and read them over and over till a bad memory was replaced by those words in a intire chapter - so the intrusive thoughts were replaced with the word of god - In saying all this - chuck mentioned how you have to be very focused to be a good writer - most cant put down to many words in print simply because its difficult to stay focused - Being a tech working on PLCs or computers in the oilfields i had to work on systems for up to 4 months with out time off - i had been tought to be focused as a child so i was able to stay focused on systems - Its very difficult to write books - it take a person who can stay focused for months and yrs - Some books are out the reach of most there in the tens of thousands - because of the time it took to reseach the info and the yrs spent writing them - I think a book one of my grate uncles wrote is on kindle for $500 lol - i have the hard copy among 1000s of other books back 200 yrs -
