A hard watch. Jake Paul could have let his hands go & stopped him if he wanted, I'm just glad he had enough respect for Mike not to take a liberty & really hurt him. I'm sure the millions in the bank will soften the blow for Tyson.
I thought the clinching of Paul made a big difference. If Tyson could have avoided the clinch, he would had done better. I don't think he ever practiced that. I picked Tyson to lose. Those short videos of him training meant nothing as to what he could do in a fight.
It'll be interesting to see if Jake Paul can sell his next fight so easily, a lot of people feel conned by the hype and I'm not sure we'll fall for it next time! The Taylor/Seranno fight was miles more entertaining IMHO
I sent a text to Muhammad Ali's manager, Gene Kilroy. He was in the dressing room with Tyson before and after the fight. He told me, "Mike showed up, did his job and went home with a bag of money!" They were his words. This was nothing more than a exhibition match. They both held back. And the world got duped. Shame that Boxing has become a circus.
It has, indeed, turned into a circus partly because the various world bodies allow it to happen because of the revenue they make, Thanks for your comment.
Imo I think it's all bs, it's all about money and fixed. I might be wrong but there is even a leaked document online showing how the fight was fixed and fully scripted. That might be BS also but who knows what to believe anymore. Tyson has nothing to prove but he does have a family to support and a 20 million purse or whatever he got paid would be hard to not take. Tyson has lost his ego in past years (in a good way) so taking a loss for cash is not out of the question. Highly illegal but that's another story. lol
Don't we have to factor in the wear and tear on Tyson ? I mean anyone of any age if they had been through Holyfield x2, Ruddick x2 and Lewis is going to leave a lot of themselves behind in the ring. An older guy without much damage and in shape would have put up a much better showing. It's certainly possible, look at yourself, in better shape than 85-90 % of the population and you are 77?
It would be interesting to find out what the ring size was. because it looked large. It seemed like for every foot forward Tyson took that Jake had 5 steps back to move away. If the ring was larger than usual then that's on the fault of Tyson's team, as they should only of accepted a much smaller ring. The ring walk was long as well. Overall i'm just happy that Jake had enough common sense to not finish Tyson off, because he could of beaten him badly. A very sad spectacle to watch.
The simple truth is Tyson wasn’t fit enough, probably too much to ask after his earlier medical condition. My guess is it was an ‘arranged’ fight so it didn’t have to be cancelled a second time. JP could have taken him out after round 4 if he chose to but he knew Tyson wasnt well. 100% he would wipe the floor with JP if he had been medically 100%.
If Tyson did not have health problems in this fight, that he did not has before, then this was a scam. Tyson looked completely different in the ring than in the training videos. Okay yes, a boxing fight with 8 two minutes rounds is something else than 20 seconds of training footage. But whatever happened, there are so many moments in the fight, when I raise my eyebrows very high. This fight was good for the money pockets of those involved probably, but it was not good for Jake Paul as a Boxer, not good for Tyson and not good for the sport of boxing in general. Many say that this fight and his other fights were rigged as well. It is understandable why they have the feeling. If Jake Paul wants to be a boxer who gets real credit, he should just enter the boxing world and not make public clown shows to let himself look tough.
I agree with much of your comments. Rigged? No. Just a man who thought he could do what he was incapable of. Tyson's training videos sucked us in. He simply didn't have anything in the tank.
@ maybe, could also be, that Tyson did not overcome his sickness so well, as some say, it the did not want to delay the fight any further. However until Jake Paul really is meeting someone in the ring who is active in boxing, I have my doubts about him. He should really start boxing seriously, it is not that he lacks of skills, but he should do serious fights and not these shows.
Fair play: this fight was an absolute sham. I think we fight fans have been duped. Shame on them, and shame on us.
Did Jake destroy his own credibility with this one?! Don't know if I can trust another MVP production!
A hard watch. Jake Paul could have let his hands go & stopped him if he wanted, I'm just glad he had enough respect for Mike not to take a liberty & really hurt him. I'm sure the millions in the bank will soften the blow for Tyson.
I watched all his training. His stamina was right up. This is bullshit. He looked like he wasn’t up for it.

The games are up now . Jake has to fight a real fight or he will be a laughing stock. He knows he can't really box like a pro so his days are numbered
I thought you thought ferocious tyson was going to tear paul apart.
Imagine that. I got it wrong. I'm comforted that I wasn't alone. Tyson was pathetic.

Tyson was a shadow an absolute shell of his former self.
Embarrassing for paul imo
Correct but Tyson just looked like he was just turning up. Embarrassing to say you had a fight with a 58 year old man an won.
No not well-done Jake it's a circus and someone please pull down the curtain.

Thank you. Soon to be 79.
@@FranksNobleArt impressive, how much running do you do per week if i may ask ?
The amount of ignorant fan boys on your Instagram account who said Tyson would destroy Paul was astounding. Clueless.
Faked fight...we got scammed

The bottom line was that Tyson was in much poorer condition than we were led to believe.

Should never have happened, but there was so much money riding on it.

Imagine buying into the hype lol 😂
I know. Imagine!
Betebiev has told Paul he will put his title on the line. I don't think Paul wants any of that smoke.
Of course he doesn't.
