Thank you for this upload, Rabi Shapiro. It is a good clip. The brief presentations by Miko Peled and Max Blumenthal following Bruce's introductory speech, and the subsequent Q&A was extremely thought provoking. This was a noteworthy event and I recommend everyone to watch it in its entirety.

    Yeah, he's simply wrong.
Jews is the terms used to describe the people who came from the old land of "Judea". Therefore "Judaism" is a broad term used to describe the entire culture of the people of Judea (Language, customs..) in which the religion is just one characteristic of that culture that was originally referred to as "Dat Moshe" and only later was called "Judaism".
So Judaism is in fact a racial category that derives from the nation state of Judea.

This guy's logic is flawed. He is comfortable claiming it now, yet for all of our recorded history Jews were referred to as the "other"; in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. They were always viewed obviously as a group, and the diasporas while very far apart- shared many practices.
Jewish people are not to be equated to the many groups who ended up Christian or Muslim- recorded by all texts of the various religions and numerous trials and historical debates Jewish people and Jewish practices were not separated like the modern zeitgeist tries to claim it is, and therefore "dismantle" it on their own terms
