My take. Start out as an affiliate since you can make some quick profits without taking a ton of time to build a brand and source your own product. Then, if you have a passionate idea for a brand of your own, then move into using your affiliate profits to build your own brand. While building a brand is more scalable, it’s harder and takes longer to get it off the ground and get a consistent income. Worth it in the long run, but it takes a long time to see the same profits you could get with TikTok Affiliate with just one viral video. And as an affiliate, you don’t have to handle any fulfillment or customer support. And you could definitely systematize your affiliate process to scale it as well. Just my thoughts.
