I'm seeing a trend with these videos that go along like "Killing raid bosses is easy! You just need these extremely powerful guns/shields that you can only get from beating raid bosses."
Let's think about this for a quick minute. In borderlands 2 If you didn't get excellent quality of loot from killing a raid boss or any kind of loot and high xp, what would be the point of even having a raid boss in a game?
Sandhawk is a story mission reward from Captain Scarlet's DLC, so you can dashboard until you get a fire version. The bee shield can be obtained in the vanilla game (hunter Hellquist - Arid Nexus Boneyard) or by farming the Treants of the Forest in Tiny Tina's DLC. The grog nozzle pistol is a mission weapon from the Beard Make's the Man mission in Tiny Tina's DLC. That's all you need, and they are all easy to get.
I don't think you've quite understood how the battle went from your intro... the O-Negative/Slag transfusion was vital to keep above 50% health (would be far harder with Magic Missile) - and this will be very difficult to do with any character other than zero as deception kept you alive multiple times, and gave you the time to heal and get the bee shield back up.
Yeah you're probs right the magic missile would be worse, but I feel that if you change the timing of throwing that nade you can get a similar effect. As for deception being the saving grace though, I feel that any other character with skill points is more equipped than a base deception
@@pintoescort thats not exactly accurate, but since likely what happened was the pseudo b0re glitch, which gives guns the b0re effect without damage stacking, that happens when you have b0re and respec to get rid of it
Hey guys, I didn't realize this video was getting so much attention and put it on the backburner for awhile. It's been awhile since I've touched zero, so in order to answer all these questions below I'll be retesting this method on multiple characters over the next couple weeks.

@@quickchicken506 I've been playing this game for 7 years and his health bar looked ok to me. I know you wrote this comment 2 years ago but I think you missed the point lol. You don’t need to use anarchy. The point of the video is to show you don’t need any skill points, honestly a bee shield and a sand hawk can almost take on anything the game can throw at you
Bruh. Tried this method, and 1 of the ground pounds ends in immediate fight for your life. Also happens if behind cover or mid air, instant fight for your life. So... thats cool
Do you know the health-gate mechanic? Essentially it says if you're above 50% health then 1 hit can't kill you, it will just knock you down to 1 health... you then need to get back above 50% health before you are hit again. The key to this fight is to be ready to heal (with grenades or grog nozzle) as soon as you take damage.
@@marcuscooper9544 i promise ive been at full health, full shield, and even a nuke from a constructor, will instantly throw me to fight for your life, among other attacks. Like 1 hit from terramorphous, or this. I have at the minimum, op2 with all characters lmao
@@braddaechsel1268 well it shouldn't, unless they've radically changed something since the last time I played. Most of Terra's attacks are multi-hit so they will get you, and Hyp's double blast wave is tricky as you have to heal between the waves. The keys to this guy surviving in this battle were the transfusion grenades, so that his healing was already in the air coming towards him when he got hit, and deception on most jumps so that nothing targeted him after he took the first hit.
