I love baby gorillas and bigger ones they are amazing an beautiful.... An I don't know why people say they are dangerous it's how you treat them... if you mistreat them they will mistreat you... they are not dum... they are absolutely very intelligent animals..... when god made them he knew what he was doing.......
Gorilla's are way more kind than Chimpanzees by example. Gorilla's don't eat meat and so they'll only protect their family. If you come to close or you're a danger to their safety, they will protect their family and they are very strong. But indeed they're friendly giants, and I think people just misunderstand because of their appearance and the movies like King Kong. ;) Happy to read you enjoyed seeing the family!
@@LiekesShotOfLife I agree .... An thanks my dream is to learn more about them... just being apart of something god created... they are absolutely amazing I watch them every chance I get .....
It's always amusing and entertaining to see little Miesie's antics with her chum little Eve the mangabey on the ropes.. little rascals!😄😍a real treat!🥰thanx Lieke!😘💞
I just love watching the mothers and newborns imprint and bond, looking deep into each other's eyes! It's so precious......so HUMAN. Baby primates, such cute little boogers.
Oh yes, I just hope to be able to see it as soon as it happens. We're in lockdown since December and I just miss all the gorilla families. But we're trying to make the best out of it! 💛
Mies is busy making friends and looking good as baby Moos grows. One day they will be able to enjoy each others company. But not rushing it. Love looking at little gorillas. So precious.
Hi Pamela...Aren't those playful, little Mangabey's with those adorable "topknots" & such long tails & limbs, so daRn cute...It seems as if little Eve would rather hang out with her gorilla friends & play with baby Mies than spend time with her own family...To me, that in itself, is the just the sweetest thing imaginable... *: )*
So happy to read you both enjoyed the video. Indeed that's well written, they are the frosting on the cake. The connection between these two species is wonderful and a joy to watch ❤️. Thanks for the lovely words!
Hi Lieke...I also really love this baby gorilla stage when their eyes are wide open & they start noticing their surroundings outside of their Mama's comforting arms... They just couldn't be ANY cuter... *: )*

Indeed they nurse for four years and can get babies every four years. But in zoos they are allowed to breed every 6-8years because there are already to many men in zoos and they want to give everyone or as many males as possible a chance to create their own family but they need space for it.

How often will a mature female Gorilla give birth? And how long do they nurse them?
From what I’ve read, they usually have four offspring and they nurse them for about four years.
Indeed they nurse for four years and can get babies every four years. But in zoos they are allowed to breed every 6-8years because there are already to many men in zoos and they want to give everyone or as many males as possible a chance to create their own family but they need space for it.
