Why do you want to install it under the E: Drive.
The MySQL installation palces a lot of files in the C: Drive i.e. Program Files, Program Data folder, etc. I don't think it will get installed in any other drive.

Also I have made storage settings to E drive which means that whenever If I download any program,images,videos or software it directly goes to E drive and in some cases provides the customization option. But in this it's taking by default c drive . And the reason I want to put all my programs ,files etc because in future If my C drive gets corrupted then for backup I cannot use c drive as it contains other program files in addition to the system files, folders etc.
