People are so blind. The original network that is still decentralized is Ethereum Classic. If you want what Ethereum was then buy etc, if you want a centralized network then buy eth. I agree, it's the future but how far into the future? We can at most produce 27 transactions every second with blockchain so far and comparing that to the regular fiat currency network it isn't even 1/10th.. Until someone can come up with a cost effective blockchain, either forked or just plain new - the banking industry will remain the same.

ESG mandates will only allow institutions to hold a certain amount of BTC on its balance sheet BUT with ETH going 99.9% more green than BTC, a vast amount (2% to 5%) of ethereum CAN be put on the corporate balance sheet. Guess what that will do to the price of ETH. Also with bond rates dropping year after year it looks as if Etheruem is could replace the US bond.

there is another problem with bitcoin that people don't realize. the amount of bitcoin is limited and network created new crypto in order to reward the validator. if there is no bitcoin to give to validator from network, the transaction cost jumps too high.

Except that Ethereum is owned by banks and relies on Infura, which is owned by one guy. You are replacing banks with another bank.
