Love this bottle! Got my first in SC and drank it in two days. Bought two more the next day! $25 in SC and in IL I see it for $49 and pass since I have two. Drops here once ina awhile for MSRP at local the usual spots for allocated at msrp.
Found many bottles of Early times bib in a bait shop in northern Michigan last summer for $22.99 , bought them all 😉. I have several cases of blue and black caps and I CAN'T tell the difference 🤔🤷 Cheers 🥃🥃👍
Awesome video man. I have been searching for a bottle of Early times to back up my almost empty bottle. Thank you for the work out in to getting answers for us.
I saw the blue cap at a local store last week near me. I picked up 2 more bottles of Early Times BIB black cap at a store in KY that still has them. I currently have 10 bottles of the black caps bunkered. 🥃
Thanks for the info. I also live in CO and have noticed it has not been around. I did get two bottles to have at the house. I knew something was up but didn’t know the details so thanks again!! Cheers!
Oregon had zero bottles for 4-5 months, for some unknown reason they must have got pallets of it in the last 2 weeks, it's everywhere. I'm gonna buy a case. Let's all hope that the new whiskey will actually be as good or better, not the other way around, thanks Patrick for investigating.
Coincidentally I saw 4 bottles (metal cap) on the shelf at my local Hy-Vee today, $29. I've rarely seen a bottle here in Central Illinois, but when I did it was priced higher.
@@michaeledwards4107 I’m wondering if they are moving out everything ready for April next year. It’s going to be an interesting few months. Thanks for watching.
The warehouses could make a difference. Should be interesting. My bet is that the Sazerac distilled version is distilled in Bardstown since it is now bottled there.
Grabbed 2 bottles today that state they produced by early times Louisville KY. Putting one up to compare to the sazerac version. I have seen a little less availability myself here in Louisville. Makes total sense that it's still brown foreman distillate. Curious to see if anything changes once it's all Sazerac.
Is the Brown Forman ET BiB mashbill the same as Old Forester 100P? Or more importantly, is there a significant difference in flavor profile or quality between the 2? ET BiB is not available anywhere I go, but OF 100 is now $21.71/1L. So curious if I'm missing out & should try to source an ET
I would say it’s very different. You get more tabacco, oak and spice. After time it’ll take on more berry and strawberry notes. I would say the old forester has more toasted marshmallow, caramel popcorn notes, with no real spice at all.
This makes total sense as it’s disappeared from stores by me too. Please don’t do anything crazy sazerac. Thanks for sharing Patrick.
I hear you on that. I don’t know how they could make it better than it already is.
Thanks for making this video. I think I was one of those people who ah foreclosing commented about the lack of early times I was seeing around.
I’m glad I was able to clear that up for you and thanks for watching Rick.
Thank you for looking into this and sharing!
I appreciate you watching and commenting!

@@Bourberic that price of $50 is steep but a buy all day at $25
$25!!!! It’s always at least $30 here.
Very interesting thank you for doing the research.

That's a fantastic score! I'm sure there’s no difference but there will be coming with this new sazerac release. Thanks for sharing Thomas.

You're going to have a good supply for a long time!
@ I gift a lot of these and then replenish. 🥃
@ it’s a great gift. I’d be very happy to get one.
Good job with the breaking news! One of my favorite budget bourbons
Thanks. Looking forward to what the new batch is like.
Great video. Thank you for the information

That’s good. I believe it’s msrp in Oregon right? Time will tell but if they wanted to change anything that would be the time to do it.
@@TheWhiskeyCove Yes, OR is msrp, that's why I cross state lines from WA. That guy in Tampa getting it at $15 is unreal.
That’s a crazy price. I’ve seen it probably as low as $19.99 but never less than.
Great information here. I’ll pick up a bottle of early times bottled and bond at my local Total Wine soon.
Hopefully you can find it for a fair price there Dean.
Thank you for sharing this information. 👍
You bet!
Great job of investigating what is going on with Early times bib, MANY of us are wanting to know the scoop 😀 👍
Thanks! Hopefully, this clears up some of the confusion.
I purchased a bottle last night for $14.99 at a local store....nuts pricing in a good way....$16.04 out the door.
@@tjeffers99 that’s insane pricing. Congrats.
@@TheWhiskeyCove I am going to go back and pick up a couple more....they had cases of it stacked up. I'm in the Tampa Bay area
I picked up a couple of bottles in Jacksonville. $16.99 each or two for $25.99. Great deal.
Yeah I’d pick up a case.

That’s also true. Bardstown is quite different to Louisville.
🎉🎉🎉
Thank you!
I have been looking for Early Time BiB without success for over a year. I will keep an eye out for it in April 2025.

I got 2 bottles today in Fl
In California I was able to find it in stock for the first time just 2 months ago. Been on the lookout for 2 years.
It seems to be popping up again in some areas.
Can’t wait for it to be allocated :( not high hopes on my end. Regardless, good video Patrick! Thanks for checking
Thanks for watching. I'm hoping for the best as well.
Very cool. I'm wondering if Saz will also redesign the packaging as well to essentially complete the transference of the brand.
I'd have to guess yes, but we'll have to wait and see! I could see it being a 750ml re design but that’s just a hunch.
look at the back of the bottle if it has 2 DSP-KY labled it is Brown Forman Juice. Regardless of cap color.
That’s good to know Ken thanks.
My store’s finally got some last week, I snagged one. They are all sold out now.
Damn that was fast. At least you got one.
I’ve been searching stores in Texas and have not been able to find Early Times BIB. Looking forward to see how the 2025 juice tastes
Let’s hope that it stacks up!

@TheWhiskeyCove Thanks for the info! Based on your description, the ET sounds delicious & I need to get some
Suddenly, I started to see one or two of these in Idaho in November after years of not seeing anything at all. Very odd
@@ericshaver6087 it’s possible they could be pushing out back stock before the new bottles come out in April.
Sazerac will be releasing the new stuff here soon
April I what we were told. Who knows how long it will take to get distributed.
@TheWhiskeyCove hoping soon.. it's my favorite budget bourbon. I still have 2 bottles.. man I hope Sazerac does it justice.. here's to hoping 😆
April that email said of next year sometime.
Maybe start looking for a few more at msrp.
I can’t see this staying the same price or the same size. I think we are going to lose one of those this year.
Man I hope not. Maybe this video will help!
#brewzle
#thewhiskeycove
It will be back....at $49.99 a bottle. Watch.
