I feel Bad for the Giga, yes it is the big Bad Dinosaur of this movie But He didnt even act like a Villain, yes He killed a T-Rex 65 Million years ago and HD did hunt the Humans But only because they did walk in his Territory and when they hurted him engouth, Giga did leave them Alone Not like the Hybrids or Spinosaurus, the Giga was also just Walking into Rexy and The Therizinosaurus by Accident and was getting Killed, for me He did nothing wrong He did behavied more like a Real animal than a Monster and this Giga deserves more Love

Bro i feel bad for giga he just acted like a animal and then everyone started to beat on him and he didnt have a reason to even die he was pretty much a punching bag for the movie
The Giga is the true victim. Out of all the villainous dinosaurs, it acted the most like an actual animal/real dinosaur. It saw that the main cast had intruded upon it's territory, and so, it defended it accordingly. Not to mention, when it and Rexy met in the valley for the first time over the deer, it didn't try to kill her. It simply showed her who the true alpha predator was, and took the deer. It was simply protecting its territory. But for some reason, it gets the most brutal death in the film.
While it's donor killed Rexy's and hunted down the main cast, the Giganotosaurus was portrayed as a realistic animal in most parts as opposed to the Indominus Rex and Spinosaurus, the latter which hunted out of mental instability or vengeance. If it were up to me, I'd make the opening similar to the original Jurassic Park and have the Giganotosaurs killed maybe a few BioSyn staff when being introduced into the sanctuary and have Dogdson cover them up. That way, it would've make them more villains than they were in the film. Maybe even have the Giganotosaurus bully some of the other dinosaurs in the valley as well, but the film had too much to work with.
As excited and happy as I was to get my wish to see Giganotosaurus in a Jurassic movie........honestly I felt bad for it. Sure it killed the T-Rex setting up the rivalry in the movie, and sure it was a bully to other dinos........well mostly T-Rex.....but it didn't even do anything dastardly or villainous like the Indominus or the Spino did. It was just an animal doing as it should to survive. Still a fun movie though, and with a fun dinosaur that finally got it's recognition here.
Trevorrow saying the Giga was the Joker of Jurassic World was one the biggest lies I’ve ever heard. It didn’t even act like him in the first place, it’s just an animal guarding it’s territory. The Indominus Rex fits that description way more since she killed for her own entertainment. They didn’t even need to kill it off or have Rexy team up with the Therizinosaurus. They could have just let Rexy win the fight and have the Giga retreat to find some new territory. Even an elder T.rex should have been able to win that fight alone because of how powerful their jaw strength is. Teaming up with a aggressive herbivore too was just the final rotten cherry on top. The only reason it worked when it was Rexy and Blue was because the Indominus was an actual threat and Blue wouldn’t stand a chance by herself and neither would Rexy because the Indo Rex was created to be stronger than her.

What i noticed is that Jurassic World trillogy did Rexy so dirty. There is no way a 30-year-old+ elder T-rex would lose a fight over prey to a freshly bred Giganotosaurus
@@tripxz32 i don't disagree. the practical effect of the dying sauropod, feeding time with mosasaurs, pterosaurs escaping, indo vs anky, indo and the raptors, the final battle- these were all memorable, pop culture iconic moments for me and they were all thanks to jw1. what do we get in this movie? nothing much. just a random walking brontosaurus, chris pratt sticking his hand out more, random giant bugs, random new raptor things, a blind therizinosaur and.. they OMITTED SCENES WITH MEMORABLE STUFF. say what you will about fallen kingdom, at least there was some memorable scenery, carnotaurus got its debut with allosaurus, diabloceratops and things happened that had real meaningful consequences that presented challenges. an island blew up, dinos were let loose, bad people all convened at an auction to try to put a price on nature, militarisation is death, and a human clone found out her true identity. the first of her kind by ingen, a human experiment when they were done with frogs and mosquitoes. but what did we get here? fan service with returning actors, apparently the most mishandled global catastrophe with dinosaur colonisation then recapture by different contractors and companies for their own what- security? entertainment? research? i don't know, we don't see it, we're only told it. we don't see the gradual decay and erasure of man made structures and overgrowth, we don't see people opting to stay indoors like we see with towns overrun by monkeys irl, we don't witness even passing news bulletins documenting the horrors of dinosaur invasions on urban sprawls, i hoped to see a quetzalcoatlus fly in a football stadium as they're playing, the shadow covering the entire field before it landed to pick off the players, cut to terrified audience and the wall screens showing the animal close up eating the players- this would be a memorable, probably meme worthy scene not dissimilar to mosasaurus eating the shark in film 1. so we don't see these scenes with the real life implications of a dinosaur epidemic from the last film in this film, and we're fast forwarding through those details to "oh dw they're all caught now, the dangerous ones".. so we cannot believe what is being told.. its not plausible even in the realm of suspending disbelief. the only thing that saved this film was giganotosaurus and the scenes involving it. rexy was ok, but ruined when they teamed her up with thery.

To distinguish Giganotosaurus from Tyrannosaurus in JWD, the creators made the Giga resemble many depictions showing Giganotosaurus with dermal spines. With that, T-Rex and Giga from JWD this time won’t be confused from one another. Giganotosaurus in JWD closely resembles Primeval Giganotosaurus.

If we look more closely at the prologue, we can see that the Giganotosaurus while getting up makes small facial expressions that seem to be a smile and a little malicious laugh, implying that he enjoyed causing fear in the other dinosaurs. In addition, although it is true that the dinosaur was the victim, although only in the prologue, to say that he did nothing wrong is incorrect, since the Giga bullied Rexy a couple of more times, attacked the protagonists and tried to kill them even though At first he analyzed them with curiosity, so it would be concluded that the dinosaur is the villain of the film. It may not be as evil or bloodthirsty as the Indominus Rex, the Indoraptor or the Spinosaurus, but that does not detract from the merit of being a monstrous-looking apex predator whose behavior, in addition to being territorial, was somewhat selfish considering that it did not share its territory to Rexy when she entered Biosyn Valley, not even taking her into consideration as she was new.

Even if he Survived. Soon After Dominion, they introduced Buck and Doe into the Senctuarry too. If Giga was already having Problems with Rexy then he would have got more Problems or even Death once 3 T-Rex live in the same Place. Even if Zeb (Giga) Survived, he probably would have still died when he Meet 3 Adult T-Rex and we are not talking about any T-Rex Speciemen, we are talking about the Queen of Isla Nublar and King and Queen from Isla Sorna
If you’re going to put a big carcharodontosaur in a film, actually give it the signature move of a carcharodontosaur-a devastating slicing bite powered by not just the jaw muscles but the motions of the entire head and neck. Thing doesn’t even have slicing teeth FFS.

REX Screen Time, I have a JWD Giganotosaurus toy, its called Strike N' Roar Giganotosaurus, the Strike N' Roar Giganotosaurus was my favorite JWD Giganotosaurus toy, and Giganotosaurus in from JWD is my only JWD Dominion toy to be an Argentina animal. Also, I now know that Giganotosaurus attacked Andesaurus, not Argentinosaurus, although Giganotosaurus attacking Argentinosaurus in Dinosaurs: Giants of Patagonia is a reference on how Giganotosaurus and Argentinosaurus were thought to fight each other, but actually, both dinosaurs fought different rivals of their own predator or prey. Giganotosaurus fought Andesaurus. And Argentinosaurus fought Mapusaurus. Should’ve said that fact about Giganotosaurus fought Andesaurus and Argentinosaurus fought Mapusaurus when I watched the screen time videos of Giganotosaurus and Argentinosaurus from Dinosaurs: Giants of Patagonia.

Mathzilla Rex has very strict rules about opinions, as critics aren’t allowed to force people to hate a design or a movie, everyone is free to have an opinion.
The fact that Giganotosaurus in JWD is a male or female isn’t actually collaborated, since we don’t know what gender the Giganotosaurus in Dominion, I might’ve well just refer the Giga as 'It/They/Them'.
The JWD Giganotosaurus is now starting to give me Giganotosaurus from The Land Before Time vibes, as far as I can remember… 1.) Both JWD Giganotosaurus and TLBT Giganotosaurus have green skin. Note: Giganotosaurus in the JWD Toyline skin is oddly green skin, I probably don’t know if it was meant to be green or grey, JWD Giganotosaurus must’ve have grayish-green skin, moving on. 2.) Like usual, both JWD and TLBT Gigas were seen temperate evergreen forests. 3.) Due to having similarities to the Giganotosaurus illustration having dermal spines, both JWD and TLBT Giganotosaurus have plates as a homage to the to Giganotosaurus in life reconstruction with dermal spines, like all Carcharodontosaurids, both also have brow ridges above their heads, and they both have three fingers correctly, Soooo… let’s keep going. 4.) Both have silted pupils. 5.) Both were mistakened as Allosaurus. Note: JWD Giganotosaurus was mistakened as an Allosaurus by Owen Grady, before Kayla corrected him. TLBT Giganotosaurus was mistakened by fans as Allosaurus. 6.) Both fought Tyrannosaurus.

Really? Word in Numbers does suggest that Giganotosaurus is one of the Tyrannosaurus Rex killer, but the first Tyrannosaurus Rex killer I saw was Triceratops.
The feathered T.rex is supposed to be a genetically pure T.rex from the Cretaceous period, while the scaly one is an imperfect clone of it in the present.
This is the worst dinosaur antagonist in the entire franchise. There are three reasons for this, the first is the design and it's not even that it is very inaccurate and has nothing to do with the real Giganotosaurus, but that it just looks ugly and stupid. The second is his role in the film Giganotosaurus appears in the film for a very short time and during this time he doesn't contribute anything to the plot of the film and if you cut all his scenes from the film, nothing will change. The third mockery of Rexy, Giganotosaurus again shown as a very strong theropod that easily defeats T.Rex, besides the fact that it is a cliché, it should also not be forgotten that T.Rex is the main mascot of this franchise.
Who cares, it doesn’t have to be accurate, they literally didn’t make it different then the real name for nothing, it’s for excitement and thrilling, I learned in the past few weeks in 2022, but you can’t please anyone, also, the Giganotosaurus as officially confirmed female by Colin Trevorrow.
It is supposed to be accurate because Ramsay said that Biosyn brought some dinosaurs back in their purest form and one of those is the giga and it look’s nothing like it does in real life. The whole giga being a female is also irrelevant in this conversation.
But Sci-Fi is not real life, not everyone has to be obsessed with real life designs, they make the animals different because they want to make it exciting and thrilling.
The designs don’t have to be accurate but when they say that it is accurate to what the giga looked like then that is just well inaccurate. It looks like an oversized concavanator.

Partly I agree but partly I disagree. If we look more closely at the prologue, we can see that the Giganotosaurus while getting up makes small facial expressions that seem to be a smile and a little malicious laugh, implying that he enjoyed causing fear in the other dinosaurs. In addition, although it is true that the dinosaur was the victim, although only in the prologue, to say that he did nothing wrong is incorrect, since the Giga bullied Rexy a couple of more times, attacked the protagonists and tried to kill them even though At first he analyzed them with curiosity, so it would be concluded that the dinosaur is the villain of the film. It would be a better ending if the Giganotosaurus was defeated(but not Killed) by Rexy and the other T-Rexs, and Giganotosaurus lost its position as the Alpha Predator of the Valley. They could've showed the Injured Giganotosaurus roaming in Biosyn's Valley at the end of the Movie. Zeb DID NOT deserved to Die
Even if he Survived. Soon After Dominion, they introduced Buck and Doe into the Senctuarry too. If Giga was already having Problems with Rexy then he would have got more Problems or even Death once 3 T-Rex live in the same Place. Even if Zeb (Giga) Survived, he probably would have still died when he Meet 3 Adult T-Rex and we are not talking about any T-Rex Speciemen, we are talking about the Queen of Isla Nublar and King and Queen from Isla Sorna

@M. REX Screen Time, I have a JWD Giganotosaurus toy, its called Strike N' Roar Giganotosaurus, the Strike N' Roar Giganotosaurus was my favorite JWD Giganotosaurus toy, and Giganotosaurus in from JWD is my only JWD Dominion toy to be an Argentina animal.
Also, I now know that Giganotosaurus attacked Andesaurus, not Argentinosaurus, although Giganotosaurus attacking Argentinosaurus in Dinosaurs: Giants of Patagonia is a reference on how Giganotosaurus and Argentinosaurus were thought to fight each other, but actually, both dinosaurs fought different rivals of their own predator or prey.

And Argentinosaurus fought Mapusaurus.

@M. REX Screen Time, I rewrote my comments about the JWD Giganotosaurus, because my comments were being enforced to hate this design, do people not understand what opinions are?
Mathzilla Rex has very strict rules about opinions, as critics aren’t allowed to force people to hate a design or a movie, everyone is free to have an opinion.
The fact that Giganotosaurus in JWD is a male or female isn’t actually collaborated, since we don’t know what gender the Giganotosaurus in Dominion, I might’ve well just refer the Giga as 'It/They/Them'.

The JWD Giganotosaurus is now starting to give me Giganotosaurus from The Land Before Time vibes, as far as I can remember…
1.) Both JWD Giganotosaurus and TLBT Giganotosaurus have green skin.
Note: Giganotosaurus in the JWD Toyline skin is oddly green skin, I probably don’t know if it was meant to be green or grey, JWD Giganotosaurus must’ve have grayish-green skin, moving on.
2.) Like usual, both JWD and TLBT Gigas were seen temperate evergreen forests.
3.) Due to having similarities to the Giganotosaurus illustration having dermal spines, both JWD and TLBT Giganotosaurus have plates as a homage to the to Giganotosaurus in life reconstruction with dermal spines, like all Carcharodontosaurids, both also have brow ridges above their heads, and they both have three fingers correctly, Soooo… let’s keep going.
4.) Both have silted pupils.
5.) Both were mistakened as Allosaurus.
Note: JWD Giganotosaurus was mistakened as an Allosaurus by Owen Grady, before Kayla corrected him.
TLBT Giganotosaurus was mistakened by fans as Allosaurus.
6.) Both fought Tyrannosaurus.
None of them haven't even 1% similarity to the real Giganotosaurus.

This is the worst dinosaur antagonist in the entire franchise.
There are three reasons for this, the first is the design and it's not even that it is very inaccurate and has nothing to do with the real Giganotosaurus, but that it just looks ugly and stupid.
The second is his role in the film Giganotosaurus appears in the film for a very short time and during this time he doesn't contribute anything to the plot of the film and if you cut all his scenes from the film, nothing will change.
The third mockery of Rexy, Giganotosaurus again shown as a very strong theropod that easily defeats T.Rex, besides the fact that it is a cliché, it should also not be forgotten that T.Rex is the main mascot of this franchise.
Who cares, it doesn’t have to be accurate, they literally didn’t make it different then the real name for nothing, it’s for excitement and thrilling, I learned in the past few weeks in 2022, but you can’t please anyone, also, the Giganotosaurus as officially confirmed female by Colin Trevorrow.
It is supposed to be accurate because Ramsay said that Biosyn brought some dinosaurs back in their purest form and one of those is the giga and it look’s nothing like it does in real life. The whole giga being a female is also irrelevant in this conversation.
But Sci-Fi is not real life, not everyone has to be obsessed with real life designs, they make the animals different because they want to make it exciting and thrilling.

The designs don’t have to be accurate but when they say that it is accurate to what the giga looked like then that is just well inaccurate. It looks like an oversized concavanator.
