Love it! I’ve been wearing engineer boots to do HVAC work for the last 6 years.
Red wings 2996’s, Chippewas and now vintage Carolina’s.
They’re my favorite style of boot. Either with my 501’s or dickies, they’re awesome!
Great, informative video. Love those kinds of boots. Always stuck to SENDRA, an old scholl Spanish boot company.
Enjoyed the vid, especially the history and styling portions. I think I was first introduced to engineer boots by one of Rose Anvil's videos. Cool style of boot.
Thanks a ton for watching! Rose anvil is a brilliant channel that I learn so much from
They’re so underrated. I’m wearing a pair right now, my Wesco Mister Lou engineers made of Maryam horsebutt. Definitely my favorite boot to wear, they look amazing with almost anything.
That pair sounds heavenly, I’m so glad I am now on board the engineer boot train 🤝
Really enjoyed this one dude, also noticed the sick FFA jacket in the back
My jacket has “Coachella valley” on the back, I have never seen another one from the same place, gonna be hard to ever let it go 🤔
Het mate, hope ur well. Been watching you for years. Ur so underated after all those tears still. Keep up the good work
Been looking for a pair. I gravitate more towards the ones that gave more of a sloped cowboy style heel
That Chippewa pair😍
In person they’re so much more detail to be seen and felt 🤩
The first one is really 🆒 ok with a place for your pocket knife. Second pair need some mink oil or conditioner. You should see so many cracks in the leather.i love the Chippewa viberg souls! The shorts look great on a hot day ! But it makes no sense because motor cycle boots with shorts offer no protection when you're riding or working. You did mention to keep boots oiled and conditioned every three months so you're right it does make them last longer! Engineer boots will last forever if you treat them right! Great video!
I rock my Chippewa's with black cut-off shorts. I feel like they work. Had a pair of the frye artisanal engineer boots, but I gave those away to my dad, kind of regret it. If he ends up not wearing them, then I'm going to take them back.
Engineer boots rock! Ive been wearing them since 1965. Leave the brown, don’t black it out, looks better that way.
What do you mean leave the brown? I'm about to purchase some brown Redwing 2970 or the 2971s, haven't made my mind up yet
do you think these would look good in more baggy jeans like acne 1989 or diseal d-rise? Guessing no but I really like this design but struggling to fit them in my closet. Need to form my closet to be more Americana
I been wanting to get a pair of Red Wing 9628, but I been curious how does one wear an Engineer boots "correctly". As in how do I tighten it to prevent heel slip when wearing it? Unlike the usual boots which has laces to tighten up, does the bottom buckle does the same job as well?
Ray Miah is creating his own pair as well if you follow his secret page
Imma need you to tell me what that secret page is 👀
