When it comes to providing anchorage length for the main bars and distribution bars in the footing, what can be done if there is not enough space to accommodate the calculated length from the Ld formula? The Ld should start from a distance of the face of the column horizontal until the either vertical side of the footing and then bent up if necessary. But what if the length of Ld calculated is too long for the available space in the section even after bending the bar into a "U" shape?

Clear cover is asummed 70mm and add the 280+70= 350
