A move to a slightly bigger and brighter apartment on a higher floor in their classic 1920’s upper east side building, precipitated a renovation that included the kitchen. Carefully rethinking kitchens from other homes, Bunny designed a space with a decided city glamour and yet brimming with practicality. I love watching Bunny Williams decors. I draw inspiration from it decorating our house. The shades of green I think is classy as long as it is subdued. That is what I use as base colour on our walls. I love Quintessence because you show the essence of decorating. Power on!

Love Ms. Williams' looking-for-an-exact-shade of green story!! Reminds me of Myrna Loy's fabulous paint scene in the classic film "Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House"! gorgeous kitchen!! The color of this kitchen made me scream " oh my God " she did it !!! A small long kitchen in a dark color : she is a genius ! Love, love. ohh a big win when i bought my house was the yelliw terrazo on the front porch. and i did broken tiles to make a back terrace. Her kitchen floors are gorgeous.

Who else but Bunny would be able to describe that color and get it made for her New York kitchen? I don't even know what you would call that color but she knew instinctively.. She did an amazing job with the flooring which brings in the color of the walls of the room you enter from. The kitchen is genius for a galley kitchen because Bunny designed it to NOT look tiny or cramped. I love that the brass is incorporated in the cupboard handles/door knobs and hinges, the sink faucet, and the chandelier also has brass and crystals which ties into the counter tops.. The counter at the end of the kitchen underneath the large window is beautiful and I imagine has storage as well. AND Susanna, where do I get a "wife" like Bunny has? My husband has never even entertained the idea of looking inside the kitchen, let alone make a pie.. I love Bunny Williams and I wish I were her friend so we could share our love for china. I also wish this video was longer. Hoping Bunny will throw us a bone and show us the rest of her lovely apartment in New York. Thanks again Susanna and Stacey! You two are the best RUclipsrs around and I love you both for your passion for what you do!

How sweet of John to bake the pie for tour arrival! I loved the picture inserted of John sitting in that chair, reading the paper. They are both so incredibly talented. You can tell how much they really admire each other. The perfect couple. And of course, Bunny’s spaces are everything!!!!

Williams describing the color she wanted for her kitchen reminded me of “Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House”! Kaufman’s colors are ALWAYS so delicious for the eye and this particular shade is no exception.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE COLOR OF THE KITCHEN CABINETS.
I have terrazzo floors in my Florida house they had been covered up by the prior owner and thankful I was able to rescue them, mine is much more pedestrian than Bunny's but they really are the best floors.

This is probably the third time I watch this video and each time I love the kitchen even more than before. What a gorgeous, moody and sexy color. I am not a huge fan of terrazo tiles but this one is really nice and goes perfectly with the cabinets. Stunning.

I adore Bunny Williams and all her lovely tablescapes! It’s only right that she have floor to ceiling cabinets to house all of her New York china lovelies! The dark cabinetry gives a great New York-chic vibe! The washer/dryer in the kitchen is very European, but I think with a lot of New York real estate they have to get creative with limited square footage. I would love to see the rest of the apartment! (nudge, nudge, wink, wink) Maybe after some pie and... champagne (because champagne just seems to suit), you might twist her arm for a full tour! 😉🥧🍾😉💗

Mrs. Williams, I'm telling you! You have the hook up on that china ware. It goes to show that everyone has something..........their own thing that there into. How genius.........you made room to display your dishes and it is beautiful. I love every piece. I also love the tile floor (how the broken pieces create a unique pattern). The pie that Mr. Williams made sure looks good too. There's nothing like a man who burns in the kitchen!
