A courageous expression about the path to yourself. And to the breathtaking backdrop of Ko Phangan, one of the best places on Earth. I have watched your music video. I wish more people were as honest as you are. Including myself. I hope you will find peace and happiness. Much love to you!
Thank you so much for expressing something I been dealing with but couldn't find right way to say it. I just got to Bangkok to start my journey, hopefully I make my way up Koh phangan. Keep living a magical life 👍🏻
Insightful thought and makes me realize why I feel so good when Im here in Thailand compared to back in the west. Havent thought about it this way. Im on the AS
Awesome, Erik. I think you're a great and interesting example of someone flourishing by meeting yourself as you are. I couldn't do without folks like you (and I'm probably kinda one lol); the world would be at a loss 💞💪. Lez go! :-)
I really recommend Vipassana meditation in the tradition of S. N. Goenka for a difficult but pure method to learn more about yourself at a very deep level. There are centers in Thailand where they put on the courses.
Thanks man, I enjoyed that. I spent a few years on KPG and left recently. It served me very well and I'm grateful for my time there. I recovered from burnout and am now slowly rentering society. Just finished a book on sobriety, even. In my view the neuro-divergent are just shaman types. They take on the ills and suffering of society because they feel it in the extreme. They isolate and heal themselves--as they must because there are no other options--then return to the tribe to heal others. You are your own shaman. That's the point.
It's a weight off the shoulders to be here and look back at Europe, but daunting to know what i have to go back to. It's oppressive there now in many ways.
Leaving your own society to escape social norms is a pretty novel thing to do. Most people aren't so interested in doing this, so a lot of the people who do it tend to be on the "neurodivergence spectrum", so to speak.
I have no knowledge about Ko Phangan, but I do have experiences with some new age and neo tantric communities. I'm not sure if neurodivergence is really the sole reason. The awakening process peels away the layers of conditioning, and I think what you're seeing is people who are more free. Authenticity conflicts with society's preference for order. I think you're maybe too focused on labels.

As a person going to Thailand soon, I was just wondering about that. Very insightful, thanks.

I was just there and I didn't find this to be the case. So many neurotypical, charismatic, beautiful, party guys from aus and Europe.
How do you know they were neurotypical? Did you ask them all as you can’t see it in someone just by looking. Unless you are the same.

Oh I think you’ll find that asia is a lot more oppressive. Contrary to tourists beliefs.
fascinating insights, wish I could visit one day
this video is a prime example of why you should not take too many psychoactive substances.
And think you know it all about psychology. A little knowledge is a dangerous thing.
Very very insightful. New age and various spiritual practices are full of these types of people.
Narcissists your mean? That’s what new age “spirituality” is really about.
Careful on that bike, mate.
100 % agree my friend, greez Till

It’s just escapism. Wherever he runs to his mind will still be there.
You have great energy. Im not a hippie.
thanks!!!

How has it come to be that the word Divergent is OK but to deviate is bad?
I think you fit in well here hah 😂 👍
