    even a good brawler is considered skilled when it has weaknesses, but frank's buff got rid of the one main weakness he had, like how fang hypercharge got rid of fang's only weakness and made him 'unskilled'

    • @Eggoroni
      @Eggoroni 3 дня назад

      same goes with rico and spike's gadgets, they cover up most weaknesses ( but at least they still rewuire skill :/ )

      When hypercharges were first released the bigger stat buffs were for stats the brawler lacked, coverinf their weaknesses. So they nerfed that because it wasn't reasonable.
      Adding counterplay to the counterplay is not really reasonable, Cordelius has that as his concept and he was the best brawler in the game at release and never got anywhere under A tier.

    Meg's reputation plummetted as well after her rework, I wasn't around when Frank was buffed so I don't what kind of nightmare it was. But apparently both went the same, sad way...

    I could not disagree more. Its not like Doug being the worst brawler in the game is slmehow making him a more skillful brawler than Byron, one of the best.
    Similarly with Frank, his delay didn't make him any more a skillful brawler, it just made him incredibly bad. Frank has been good in the past without his delay being tweaked but it has always been his HP and not sure how effective another HP buff would be.

      Doug can be more skilled than Byron in most of the maps, you need to dodge a lot and find the perfect moments where you should attack. People only use it on bushy maps where he is unskilled.
      And Byron attacks aren't that hard to aim.

    • @nizuma_8341
      @nizuma_8341 День назад +1

      @@edanro9787 again, Doug being a bad brawler is why you're forced to put as much effort into doing that. Dodging takes skill yes, but dodging isn't something exclusive to Doug. Besides, realistically on most maps no one is letting Doug near them and works better as a pocket healer. While I agree Byron isn't that hard to play, there is a certain level of skill to him that differentiates bad Byron's from good Byron's .

      @@edanro9787 these fundamentals are required to any brawler, especially tanks. Also, people run him on bushy maps because there's where he works. Going Doug in an open map will never work, no matter how good you are at him

  • @vazamentossuper-sonicos1125
    @vazamentossuper-sonicos1125 3 дня назад +11

    Frank was always no skill. For a brawler to be loe skill it doesn't have to be strong, just have a kit that is easy to use to the max potential. For example, i don't believe Shelly is no skill since even though her kit is basic, it is hard to use her the best possible way. Frank is just tanking everything and trying to get super, and different from other tanks he doesn't require good movement since he physically can't have good movement and his shot is just massive. Mico might not be meta, but the most you have to learn is when to not auto aim (since 80% of the time you will want to auto aim) and attacking at a super landing to make use of the hit stun because of the knockback, which makes Mico low skill as that's all you have to take in consideration

    • @vazamentossuper-sonicos1125
      @vazamentossuper-sonicos1125 3 дня назад +2

      Btw being hard to run doesn't mean it takes skill. No matter how good you were with Frank you'd hardly have a good way to use him. So the buff made sense since he can't dodge or have movement and his only actual funcition was tanking, so rewarding him for doing so was correct, they just did it WAY too much. Now Frank is pretty weak (or just boring to play, i don't see him as often as before) and still at least a decent tier on meta

    • @gcrbn
      @gcrbn 2 дня назад

      He was definitively skillful before.
      You needed good positioning and to plan out your moves before you started an engagement with an enemy, while taking into account his attack that crippled himself.
      In that regard, he was very similar to 8-bit: high health, high damage, but something that pulls you back, in 8-bit's case his slow movement speed.

    • @vazamentossuper-sonicos1125
      @vazamentossuper-sonicos1125 2 дня назад

      @@gcrbn 8 bit needs aim and supports. He has range and damage to make up for his lack of movement and you have to work around it, with both a gadget and a star power to complement this idea very well.
      Frank requires anything a tank does except he physically can't have good movement, so he basically serves to tank (more than anyone else) and push back enemies on lanes (which every other tank does)

    • @gcrbn
      @gcrbn 2 дня назад

    they did my boy frank dirty 😭
    Before his rework, I got him to r30 and his mastery on march, and I have to say it was hard to play him with the metas and brawlers that easily counter him. I even played him in power league/ranked and he used to be skillful.
    Now, supercell just reworked him so you don't have to worry about getting countered mid/close range. Press red button + pull gadget and guaranteed kill. Hope Supercell does something for him one day

      Nah it’s just the fact that I hate how they completely butchered one of Franks main core, his delayed attack. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a miracle to see Frank jumping from F to S tier, but the way he did that isn’t the right way. It’s like making Hank getting his bubble fully charge in the spam of 1 second. Yea that will make him powerful, but it completely ruins what makes Hank unique
