the sword of kaigen is such an emotional roller coaster in the best way possible M.L Wang has become on of my favorite author this year hands down. lol btw your TBR is a lil daunting this month lol but they seem like good choices ☺☺

I have been binging K drama, so I've been slacking. I need to finish The first law trilogy. with the third book Argument of Kings... anything outside of that. I may need to come up with a fun TBR jar like you did. because There are too many choices!

Take your time with Anna Karenina. You can always continue it on into December. Classics just take longer but are so worth it.

The Sword of Kaigen is one of my top 2 books I read this year! So good and just an amazing book full of epic fight scenes, love, family, motherhood and so much more! I really hope you read it!

I am excited to see what you will think about belladonna and circe. I have read both and really enjoyed though i was conflicted on circe when I finished it. I don’t know it was weird 😅 but the writing is really beautiful 😍.

My hold for ML Wang’s Blood Over Bright Haven just came in so I’ll be reading that this month, and Sword of Kaigen is getting pushed to December. I hear great things about it, though! I’m also planning to read The Great Alone by Kristin Hannah and The Lies of Locke Lamora by Scott Lynch this month. Happy reading! 📚💜

My TBR for this month is; Love In The Big City by Sang Young Park (which I’m reading right now). The other books I’m planning to read is The Color Purple by Alice Walker and The Firekeeper’s Daughter by Angeline Boulley 😊
I’m kinda hesitant with the last one since it’s a YA and I usually don’t have much luck with them but it does seem like it has an interesting plot so I hope it will be good 😅

Seems like a good tbr! I never remember at the end of the month in wrap up videos what books were on everyone’s tbrs though 😂 unless they mention it. But I plan to read Belladonna too!

I love Circe! And November is the PERFECT time to read Belladonna💜 it is very wintery and woodsy. Not gonna lie it hurt a bit when you said it sounded generic..😅 (I actually think it's quite unique in the way it's delt with some of its themes) but I understand that depending on what types of books people read they will find different things generic and samey.

My November tbr is pretty simple as i choose to re read one of my favorite danmei serie for the first time called "the granddmaster of demonic cultivation" and it's 4 and half (plus extra makes it 5) volume serie so i think it's gonna take a bit chunk of the month 🤣

Very much a mood reader so I don’t have much on my TBR. Just my book club books and may get back into The Expanse series (on Babylon’s Ashes). Juniper and Thorn is also on my library loans so that’s one as well.

@ I would definitely recommend them! Very good in the space opera category. T huge books stretch out over a longer period than the show but a lot of the plot points are similar. So cool that you worked a bit on the show!

Wow, didn't expect Anna Karenina! I read it in uni (in Russian) and well, it's really a product of its time and it's hard to relate to characters of a time period that is now long past for us, as a young Russian. Really curious to hear your thoughts on the book as a non-russian person when you finish it! I wonder how well will you understand it as it was a bit of a challenge for me and it *is* kinda my culture so... xD

I did enjoy the video. Three books that are on my November TBR are The Bookshop by Evan Friss, The Absolutely True Story of a Part-Time Indian by Sherman Alexie, and Night Parade by Ronald Malfi. They are all for online book clubs

That is one heavy TBR for sure! PS: you could totally have picked Assistant to the villain for a book set on the woods. They meet at the woods, his house is set there and is such a fun, fast read. I don’t know if reuse your prompts, but in case you do, you can choose this one next time. I hope you enjoy the books. I read Anna Karenina when I was in college, it’s a beautiful book, but if you find it tiring, my suggestion is to divide the number of pages for the days of the month and establish a daily quota. 😉

The goal this month: Hell Bent (almost finished), have to read Acowar to finish Acotar series finally lol, and the Handmaid's tale. I wanted to read Beloved by Toni Morrison but I'm scared (by the story and the writing). All of that is very serious and dark as well lmao

@@oleksandrachornovol4520 we should not be “cancelling” and erasing history, culture and classics because of the horrible decisions of a few people currently in power. Leo Tolstoy had nothing to do with current events today. He also wrote an entire book against war. Just my two cents!
