Cliff's voice has changed over the years as you would expect and also he changed it to keep up with the music of the time. Although his voice is always lovely sounding I personally think these years were the best years for his voice unique beautiful, mellow but colourful and tells the story of the song to your heart nobody else does that so well He just lives the song and you hear it in his voice just for you
I think like you. In these years his timbre of voice was beautiful. and melodious . I could spend hours hearing these old songs in his wonderful voice.

I also think his youthful good looks played a major reason of his success. His looks matched his smooth singing voice. He was extremely good looking!

Never heard this song before, a hidden gem, cliff did not sing this later in any of the reunion concerts either. What a fabulous performance at such an early age! The eye contacts, the body language, the slight blush, so genuine, so real. Who taught Cliff Richard and train him so well, I mean it never just singing, its everything together, the total package, that makes a star. Just wondering who were his mentors, he looked up to and learnt so well from?
He is so lucky w/ his mentors & he listens.
