For a 41 years old dad, this song is a pill to every night I have been fighting against depression.
Poor Radiohead....glad they finally overcame their hatred for this song and accepted it as a part of their history.
When they played it live a few years back, it was one of the best live moment's ever.

Creep is quite possibly the most covered song of all time, and there are so many different ways it can be played, but this cover may be one of if not my favorite version I’ve ever heard. The band killed it as always, but Audreys vocals are really what made this one special. The decision to jump up and down an octave between each verse and chorus really put emotion into the lyrics, and her voice never seemed strained at all.

My favorite form of instrumental band. Sometimes I would add maybe an electric guitar, but not by any chance for the rhythm, but for some solos and some decorative inserts. The girl also sings at a level and has a solid vocal.

In the chorus, this rhythmic guitar beat gave this version a peculiar touch. I liked it, it was original and didn't try to repeat Radiohead, a band that is difficult to copy. Approved!

Just have to say today's public release of Creep is awesome - your best cover to date by a long mile. Audra's vocals send shivers down my spine each time I listen to this cover. Its been on repeat ever since you published it 👏👏👏💖 Give it time, this needs to go head to head with Sweet Child of Mine. It was the latter that found it's way into my feed on RUclips and I've listened to your covers ever since. However, Creep has just taken you to another level... I know, my assertion that this Cover of Creep by First to Eleven is the best I had heard in my entire life, may seem somewhat exaggerated, therefore I must explain my reasons sharing with you these appreciations :
First, Jazz swing, due to the nature of its harmony, when it connects with feelings, always invites to escape to a "warm and sweet cloud" from harsh reality. That's why from the deepest roots of Blues to the highest levels of Free Jazz, its composers seem like "gods" creators of new worlds, universes with new rules. This outpouring of instrumental virtuosity and creative imagination can also occur with Progressive Rock.
However, in the essence of Rock, you can vibrate with his music, but while he's hitting the fucking reality his lyrics are meant to confront. trying to beat her. So when you tell the story of someone who fails to overcome that adversity, with Rock it's possible to express a feeling of frustration more tearfully.
In this case, the lyrics of this song and the spirit of the original Creep, the acoustic Rock ballad, allow for more emotional intensity, especially when it reaches the climax of the song, when she "runs", and whoever loves her sees her as special as unattainable. ... Rock describes the hard drama of this deep pain of impotence better than a melodic base close to jazz.
Finally, between the interpretation of Haley Reinhart or that of Audra Miller, are all comparisons hateful? I hope not, because I love both.
Haley's singing virtuosity is beyond doubt. But what Audra transmits to me is not just a matter of voice range, which is very wide, but above all an amazing ability to get emotionally involved with the stories of all the characters she sings. which seems incredible at her young age. As good actors do, she lives that scene with a personal passion , as if it were "real". And it's a rare talent that very few singers know how to convey.
