I feel if there _is_ an orchestra to celebrate Pizza Tower, this guy should be hired but Part 2 would have to be altered to include the original song's audio. As amazing as it is to be transformed into pure orchestra, it loses part of its identity in the transition, particularly how out-there it is. Imagine if "You don't want what you want at all" was successfully weaved into an orchestral piece while keeping its original audio. That would exemplify Pizza Tower in its truest nature; breaking expectations while simultaneously harkening back to older material in a respectful manner. edit: not saying converting it into pure orchestral is disrespectful.
i just wanna take a moment to talk about how beautiful Phase 3 of this fight is. Peppino has been through hell climbing up the tower, he was already anxiety ridden, and the tower just made it worse. When Pizzahead brings the 4 bosses up, a typical player would think "aw man, not a boss rush!", and Peppino felt the same way times 100. After all he has been through, going through hell and fighting some of his worst enemies, he doesn't get some kind of special power or boost (story wise i mean, we obviously get that in game) and instead finally snaps from his anxiety and anger. its not some magic power that awakens, its not the will to do the right things, no, its SHEER AMINOSITY for these villains and what they put him through. his anger is the story's climax. If you've ever felt anger or resentment for someone (which, while its not healthy, we ALL have that person), then this ending is relatable and cathartic, that anger can drive a person to do good or bad, its a neutral, but powerful force. this moment encompasses that and thats why its such a great moment in gaming.
Something I like to think about anger is this: "Anger is a person's most powerful weapon, wield it incorrectly and it could destroy everything you know and love. Wield it correctly and no one can stop you."
as someone who p ranked every level before moving to the next (voluntary CBT) and spending HOURS on Phase 1 of pizzaface's fight you can imagine the absolute animal i became when i first tried Phase 2 & 3
Phase 2 being in major key gives it a completely different vibe from the original, and I kind of like it. It feels like it focuses less on the angst of Peppino and more towards to joyous nature of Pizzahead.
tbf, the song was probably used to refer to Pizzahead rather than Peppino. "You don't want what you want at all" He doesn't want to blow up Peppino's with a laser, as is evidenced by there being no laser. Just a ruse to bring Peppino to the tower.

No one is giving you enough credit tbh. I play in a band and this is wonderful. I can imagine reading this and playing this while doing some marching stuff. I mean, if you look at ANY of the wind instruments, it looks genuinely playable. No overly long whole notes, no unplayable high notes, just, perfect. And even if I never heard of pizza tower before, I would put this in my playlist, not just because of how good the original song is, but how marvelous this is as well. If it didn't have 'Orchestral Remix' in the title, I would have just assumed this is a original song! A lot of people assume a good remix is changing the song to match the genre, but I think that if you can do that, while also adding your little own change, makes it even better. This is incredibly well done. I really appreciate the choices in voice and tone, especially for parts 1 and 3. The orchestra does have a little difficulty at times keeping up with some of the more extreme guitar rifts in certain places, but this is a wonderful experience. I do want to talk about part 2, though. The attention to the composition is still stellar, but the orchestra instruments have a completely different sound.
