the house looks like an unfinished resort and if the house ever gets painted they have no other option except for white for most of the part and i can see the house become a bhoot bangla if there is no maintenance but its a work of art
I love this house, the conceptualization and the explanation. I don't know why it looked a bit dull to some or why they were criticizing the architects vocab. It's definitely not layman's English, did have architectural connotations but I don't see any need to dilute it down because in my opinion that's how I get to learn new stuff. I'm definitely not an architect but it made sense. Yes, you could have reduced the loud music and you kept swallowing some of your words.
This video is more about English language than about architecture. Why so many words of high vocabulary? He's even taking time to think of new words to put through and carefully avoid repeatition.
I think all the video of Buildofy are like this, They rarely mention hindi language in their show. However, their English is much better as compare to other show, And the way they are using those kind high vocabulary, it's like they are decorating the entire show with it. so i m being totally fascinated with it.That's the main things what i like about Buildofy. And I think they are not only targeting Indian client and costumer, but also for customer throughout the whole world. It's also like advertisement show where whole world might be watching. so it's good to use those kind of high vocabulary while having these kind of show, especially while, you know yourself that you are going to be in social media after a while. So this is my kind of perception.
This is better watched in mute mode, not because the music is irritating but to ignore Mr. Malik's gibberish. Decent piece of work---some things good and others not so much.

Most Desi's (Indians) who have NEVER stepped a foot out of india is calling this design as "lousy and overdone" --> NOT realizing the fact that "Art" and "Spaces" add much more value to a house than your traditional matchbox design ever will, so instead of judging it, please travel, learn and evolve.

Not that the design doesn't make sense, but too many elements coming together have created something which isn't widely acceptable. Travelling and exploration definitely help but I think, we as architects owe a little something to cultural regionalism or else the architecture around the globe would be simply whimsical and pretentious.

It's just that since his father is an architect he gets a chance to build his ideas while most of the others from non architectural background build on their own. A beautiful design. The structure looks absolutely macho with sharp edges and the rocky grey colour. Perfect for bachelors or adventurous individuals. But, for a family the architecture lacks the designs that would impart warmth and care.
