@jitkap2334 Yeah I think I can see where you're coming from. I guess the best way that I look at it is, a number of pieces thrown together that just works for what it's worth... I guess that's part of being eclectic. Personally, though I like a number of items and clothing in her wardrobe, I would've stopped at a certain point but then, I understand that my style is just different compared to hers or the looks that she's trying to portray in this segment.

I love all your fascinating and fun ideas - the week of pearls, the one button off Friday, shoe and sock combos esp the gold shoes and wooly sox! And of course the long velvet coat is to die for! While I know you show us the process on IG, the WIW series is still so interesting and you always show us amazing ways to change things up!! And while I haven't gotten into men's jeans yet I found the most amazing men's jacket at Goodwill that my husband couldn't stop talking about - the things that come to us at the end of a thrift shop are so good! I loved them all, my favorite was Friday. I wore a tie yesterday and I pinned a leather flower to keep it from sliding off. The leather flower came off of a purse that had seen it’s last days, so I removed the leather flowers from it. I tell people all the time that you were my inspiration to think outside the box. I started watching you faithfully during the COVID pandemic. I got many compliments on the tie with the leather brown flower. Thanks for sharing your outfits for the week, always a favorite for me.

I grew up in the San Fernando Valley, and, as a young teen, I remember shopping at Bullocks back in the early 60s. Then I moved to Orange County, and later, Bullocks became Macy's. Back then, there were a lot of different department stores, but they all consolidated into what's left. I kind of miss the variety of department stores we had back then.

This week's What I Wore is my favorite! These looks are me when I was younger( I'm in my sixties) . I'm the only one of my friends who likes this imaginative expression. Living in the countryside I don't dress like this as much, but you have inspired me to get out there and put something fun together for a day out and about! Thank you Beth❤

LOVE this week's outfit choices!
The new closet really serving to become a great play space. Your first look giving major inspiration for just my casual day, I just never thought about putting a turtle or mock neck pull on top underneath my men's button up. I am going to do this tomorrow (minus necklace) because I'm going over my daughter's to watch my grandbaby. The second look for Tuesday is more of a throwback look of the working women back in the day (housewives did not wear suits but dresses), this would be more like the librarian/teacher/secretary/old maid. That skirt that looks almost like fur is really interesting piece. The black/white shoes that you were referring to are spectator shoes that finished off your valentine Day look. I just recently finally thrifted an off-white tweed brocade Chanel like fringe trim edge blazer (I am just in love). Also thrifted some buckskin oxford ankle Bjorndal boots w/wood chunky mid-heels and a midi length faux fur like brown/blond/tan coat it was a steal at $19. You did this week up with some more achievable looks that I can do from my closet. Thanks for sharing and blessings to you and all in the days to come.
