It's Just Gardening.
Gardening is simple, just plant it and let them grow. Gardening in the DMV area, District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia.
I live in suburban Northern Virginia Zone 7a. I converted my front and back yard into a garden food forest, hoping to have all year-round produce.
In addition to growing greens, I also grow some Cold Hardy trees and plants, like different varieties of Russian pomegranate, citrumelo, pineapple guava, yuzu lemon, Meyer lemon, and oranges. Some are in the ground outdoors and in an unheated greenhouse.
Below is the list of my plants:
pawpaw, citrumelo, yuzu lemon, Meyer lemon, Guava, sugar cane, jujube, Russian pomegranate Salavatski, grapes muscadine, orange, tangerine, blueberry, blackberry, flying dragon, loquat, passion fruits, maypop, banana, figs, honeyberry.

I can never grow a successful sweet potato harvest here in London. I’m going to have to rethink a new method.. it’s nice to see the children so excited.. it’s such a fun activity for them to do

Yea it was fun for the kids. 🤔 hmm , London zone9 should have no issue. I was disappointed so need to plant this earlier next year.
