Cybex Anoris T i-Size Car Seat Review

We are big fans of the technology that Cybex are constantly working on to make child car seat safety more advanced and essentially safer. This time they’ve taken a big jump to something we’ve not seen before - a car seat with an integrated, full body airbag!
Improving upon their previous impact shield car seats, such as the Pallas G i-Size, Cybex now give us the Anoris T i-Size. This is a car seat that not only secures your child with an impact shield, but has a full body integrated airbag that inflates from the shield within milliseconds of a collision (or less than a blink of an eye). Cybex say that after over 1000 rigorous crash tests, this provides approximately 50% more protection in the event of a frontal collision than traditional forward-facing, harnessed car seats, while still offering the same protection as rear-facing seats. We’ve been putting it to the test with our four year old researcher.

I was hesitant to purchase an open box carseat but it came in excellent condition and saved $35. Box was damaged as stated before I purchased it, but the ruclips.net/user/postUgkxIxQe7nPH74g_xtI5NgiE9-zpGNkfgovw car seat looks brand new and I don't think it was ever used. I will update of course if I have any issues with this carseat but I don't think I will. Also it is surprisingly lightweight, the handle feels secure unlike my previous EvenFlo that was gifted to us. Love it !

It’s meant for toddlers from 15 months old and cannot be mounted on a stroller.

How is the comfort during longer trips? I mean you have a big piece laying on your tummy, isn't this kinda uncomfortable on longer trips for the child, especially in summer?

I would like them to do the roll over test as well. As per the other videos available the child was ejected from the seats made using the same stomach shield’s

As it's an i-Size car seat, it has to pass the roll over and side impact testing before going on sale. It achieved best score from ADAC. 😊

It must have belt for rollover and stomach airbag shield for front impacts. What if car gets rolled over and G force was not enough to trigger the air bag?

You're very welcome! No this is wipe clean only I'm afraid, as contains the electrics and airbag.

What would happen if your child was sick over it, I’m just wondering how easy it would be to clean?
